My husband took me for the first time to Ristorante MV to celebrate my birthday. Being that we are big Italian food lovers - MV did not disappoint. The atmosphere is upbeat and chic. Not overly formal but there is a style to a Saturday night for dinner. We were seated in the bar room since we are not a regular (yet) and still the table was comfortable, spacious and the servers were professional and willing to answer questions regarding the menu. The food was delicious from the calamari my husband ordered to the fresh mixed house salad I had to start. We then had the pasta bolognese and chicken parmesan which both melted in our mouths. Just delicious. We finished by sharing the Affogato for dessert. I've never had anything so decadent-- it was so smooth it didn't taste like ice cream but more like velvet cream with expresso. I can't say enough good things about Ristorante MV! Just go and find out for yourself. Call and make a reservation though-- they are always busy.

This was my second visit to this wonderful restaurant! EVERYTHING is such quality: the lovely ambiance, the food, the wine selection, the service. The beet and bean salad and the creme brulee are amazing!

Food was great but we ate outside on patio right below their speaker which was blasting music making it difficult to hear each other. We asked both the waiter and manager if the music could be turned down a little but they said the boss won't let them adjust the volume. They also said they get the same complaint all the time

We waited 20 minutes past our reservation only to be seated outside. There was only one head waiter outside and it took a long time to order a drink and food. This was a Thursday night. Food is great, the upstairs bar was fantastic for pre dinner cocktails. Overall I would recommend, I’ll give them a pass on the delays, call it an off night.

We had gone for a family birthday and did not have a good experience. This is an expensive meal so our expectation was that the service would be better. Our waitress was rude, abrupt, absent and had a major attitude. The food was average and definitely not worth the high price. She never came back with the check after asking several times and although they had it marked as a birthday celebration it was never acknowledged. They also sat us at a table for 8 when we were 6 and never reset the table for us. If you want to charge high prices you need to meet or exceed that standard and this place did not!

Overall great food. Very loud and felt crowded. We were sat at a table right next to the kitchen door which was very high traffic and took away from the overall experience.

We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation time. The noise level was high and it was difficult to hear one another because the tables are placed too close to one another. It was expensive and not worth the price.

While food was good service was poor - bad mistake on taking order, long wait for correct meal, inattentive server.
