The food was very good. Aida was a great server. However I was very disappointed that they did not bother to update their online menu. I went expecting to have lamp chops which they have not had for a very long time.

For our anniversary dinner we chose to eat here. We have been here before and the food was outstanding. Don't let the fact that the restaurant sits on the street level of the DoubleTree hotel distract you from giving this "right out of the Sopranos" dining experience a try. The server, Elena was amazing, the chef, known by some as Chewie, Jesus, is exceptional. As a food patron I am struck and in admiration of the attention to culinary attention he places into every dish and he is a reflection of the ownership and management of the restaurant's commitment to overall dining experience. If the weather is nice - you can also sit upstairs on the 7th floor terrace by the pool so benefit by the fact the restaurant is in a hotel. But no matter where you sit, it is the food you will remember. It is a slice of New York level Italian dining. The salads are bright and fresh, prepping you for some of the best pizza or pasta or main dish you can get. We had a craving for Pollo Parmigiana, we ordered salad, the pollo, pizza and the Special. The dough, the pasta, the sauces are made we exceptional attention, perfect texture, and balance and its the flavor layered sauces you'll remember.

The restaurant was not busy when we dined so it was quiet. The drinks we ordered were refreshing and the presentation was nice. The appetizer we ordered "Fritti Misto" was very delicious. We would definitely order that again. For dinner we had pizza and spaghetti. The spaghetti and meatball portion size was large enough to share.

Many of the bar items were not available. The bartender was gracious to offer substitutions that helped but it would be a better experience if what is on the cocktail and wine menu is available. The food was great but the service was a bit slow. Overall, a nice option for Italian cuisine in El Paso.

We enjoyed great food and relax atmosphere, the only complaint is that the website is somehow deceiving by advertising that there is live music on fridays and saturdays. We dine in on a Saturday only to find out that it's been long since they stop live music on Saturdays (the website was specific on the date and still included saturday). This place seems to be mostly for hotel guests as there was not full. We may try next FRIDAY, see if we get live music. Elena (waitress) took great care of us. The restaurant has a fancy menu that HAS ITS OWN LIGHT! - never seen one, you need to come and check it out! There is parking onsite, but is the old parking garage of the hotel with VERY NARROW parking spaces. Elevators take forever, probably they are in dire need of updating.

My husband and I got sick after eating here. We had poor upset stomachs and bowel movements that we know for a fact it was this restaurant. We did not eating afterwards because of how sick we both got. The wine was excellent.

The food was great, and the environment was amazing. It’s a nice and formal little place to have some good Italian food. I will say that there was trouble with our order and the timing of it. It took about 45 minutes to an hour for us to receive our order. Also, they didn’t have too much for toddlers. They had a coloring page menu with only one black crown that was found in the back.

This is a wonderful place! We were impressed with the food and live music. I'm glad El Paso has a fantastic restaurant like this one.

Early dinner at Ristorante Casanova before a night a the BallPark was the perfect place to dine. Meal was excellent, Manny the server provided exceptional service, restaurant was impeccably clean and atmosphere was peaceful. Highly recommend, we will return soon.
