Éttermünk 2011 nyara óta van jelen a budai várnál. A ’Terrace’ szó nem hiába került bele az elnevezésbe, hiszen a vendégek valóban úgy érezhetik, hogy egy másik világba, idilli környezetbe csöppentek, elég helyet foglalni a buja zöld növényzettel körülölelt terasz asztalainál. A kerthelyiség szinteltolásos építészeti kialakítása, a felső részen helyet kapott grillkonyha, a kényelmesen és tágasan elhelyezett bútorzat otthonos hangulatot teremt.
Welcome to Riso!
Our guests can indeed feel that they got into another world, an idealistic scene, it is enough to take a seat at the tables of the terrace surrounded by lush, growing greens. The leveled architectural design of the terrace, the higher level of the grill kitchen, the comfortably and loosely placed furniture, creates an intimate and also cozy feeling.

Good food however service was poor. Our waiter was uninterested. In spite of me filling in the special remarks in the reservation app - that the occasion was birthday and that we would like cake and fireworks, the restaurant didn’t bother to provide anything! When I raised it with the staff, they haven’t apologized but arrogantly told me that I should have written what kind of cake (?!). Any cake would have been fine.

It was a fitting way to celebrate an important family event. Beautiful setting, pleasant atmosphere, courteous and friendly service, excellent food.

We have had a nice dinner again, tried the paella del mar, which was delicious. Great ambience, reliable service.

We loved it so much! All the dishes and desserts were delicious. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and more outside terraces, too. It is very close to the castle. Prices are OK for its quality. We will return... :)

One of my favourite restaurants in Budapest. A bit fancy and pricey, but well worth the money. Located just below the Buda Castle with a wonderful outside garden terrace, mature trees and an overview to the Castle walls/gate. Good quality foods, wood burning pizza oven. Rice ice cream with raspberry souce is my fav dessert. Staff is very professional and polite.

The service is outstanding, food is wonderful and if you take price into consideration it is mind-blowing. I've visited Riso a number of times and they never disappoint. I'd gladly recommend it to anyone.
