Rise Woodfire Santa Clara is a 300-seat restaurant offering an elevated comfort food experience in the South Bay! Local and family-owned, our concept was born out of our owners Omid and Susan’s passion for people, pizza, and wood-fired cooking. Our menu is an unexpected yet delicious combo of Wood-Fired Pizza, Rotisserie Plates, and Homemade Pies. We’re proud to use the best ingredients and unique dough recipes to create mouth-watering gems and to craft Signature Cocktails at our beautiful bar. Our Rise principle of Excellence in Hospitality will certainly be felt when you visit us for lunch, dinner, happy hour or even when you host your next event with us!

Missed order, served wrong dish with wrong side to each person. Very slow service, took 20 minutes to get dessert after it was ordered.

Ambience is good and food is great. Staff there are super friendly and the restaurant is kid friendly as well. I love love their burrata pesto starter.

We read about Rise Pizzeria in the SJ Mercury’s Newspaper. We decided to try it for Valentine’s Day since they had a prix fix dinner for two that included prime rib. We are so glad we went. They allowed us to have 2 prime ribs as neither of us eat salmon. From the appetizers (roasted artichoke spread & a Caesar salad to share) prime ribs with delicious mashed potatoes and two slices dense chocolate cake and Portuguese cheesecake which excellent. Dinner was outstanding. Gerardo our server and his colleagues were very attentive. They even gave each lady at the table a rose. The manager said it was their idea. We will definitely return for lunch and dinner with family and friends. Good menu choices. Priced well. We love prime rib and now have a place to go to that is not 40 miles away. So glad we read the Mercury News!

We've been talking about coming here for a couple of months, ever since i saw online that a new restaurant was taking over the old Piatti location. The beef ribs and prime rib caught my attention. Had dinner here last weekend with the hubby and kids, and everything was awesome. Aforementioned prime rib was spot on, hubby and son loved it. i really liked the wood fire pizza, prosciutto and argula (kids didn't care for the argula). Dessert was so good, basque cheesecake and a chocolate celebration cake, a massive six layer chocolate cake with ice cream. We will definitely be back.

Previously dined as a couple and this time dined with a party of 7. Both times staff was friendly and service was exceptional. We asked staff for recommendations and they were open and honest with their opinions. The recommendations were spot on.

Please turn up the heat. It was cold in the restaurant. Saw other people in there dining with their overcoat on as well. Pizza is good. Nice thin chewy crust. Prime rib was terrible. So chewy it was not eatable. Waste of 50 bucks. Branzino was decent. Sides and chicken wings were done well. Beef ribs were tasty but wasn’t very hot. Overall if you stick with the pizza and side dishes, you’re good. The large plates have been disappointing and not a great value.
