T2D Concepts, the purpose-driven hospitality group led by chef Tiffany Derry and Tom Foley, has cooked up its latest concept, Radici Wood-Fired Grill. Meaning “roots” in Italian, Radici draws inspiration from Tiffany's early experiences in Italian restaurants, Tom's maternal heritage, and both Tiffany and Tom's travels through Italy. The menu changes based on seasonal availability and centers around meats and vegetables prepared in a wood-fired grill and a selection of fresh pastas made daily.

We're huge fans of Chef Tiffany Derry and since it was our anniversary, we decided to splurge. Atmosphere: cool, modern, smart design. Louder than we expected. Conversation was a bit of an effort. Service: everyone was attentive, kind, and helpful. Our main server gave us all the time we needed, and provided loads of recommendations when asked. Drinks: we had the Rossini and the Infondere. The former was on the sweeter side, which my wife enjoyed; mine was a bit harder with some intriguing and varied flavors. Would definitely order again. Appetizers: rosemary focaccia (which redefined my appreciation of this bread) and suppli al telefono (fried risotto croquettes, full of cheese and magic, sitting on a bed of fresh pesto). The focaccia came with top-notch olive oil and a balsamic vinegar that I actually could have sipped. It was amazing. Pasta: we shared the rigatoni all'amatriciana, which included crisped guanciale (yum) in an ever-so-slightly spicy red sauce. I've never had fresh-made pasta with such an al dente feel; bravo. Entrees: she chose the chicken parm, which was huge and beautifully done. I had the braciole; it was an excellent treatment of a superb pork chop. A few parts were drier than I expected, but it was still great. Dessert: She had the pistachio olive oil cake, which was weirdly awesome -- moist but firm, and all the flavors played together nicely. I (of course) had the tiramisu which was... interesting. The dessert itself was light and airy and delicately delicious, but it was covered with chopped fried phyllo dough. This gave the taste and sensation of eating wood shavings that finally dissolved after some chewing; perhaps not everything requires varied textures. Coffee: Instead of a rich espresso, my cappuccino tasted like someone had emptied the office coffee pot into some hastily foamed milk. Odd for a high-end Italian place. Even with the few missteps, it was a still a very enjoyable experience.

Great service through. Food was delicious. Only negative was being charged $50 for a small pour of a top shelf vodka. Other than that no problems at all.

We had a lovely dinner at Radici for my mother’s birthday. The food was excellent! Our server, Maddie, was very attentive and took care of all our needs. We will definitely be back!

We were really looking forward to trying your new restaurant and we're underwhelmed. All from requiring a $20pp deposit to make a reservation ($80 since 4 of us!) to food that was just okay. Chopped salad was basic, pastas were good but overpriced for what we received. Tables were very crowded and since we were on the corner tables our friends elbows kept hitting the waiters. We felt overall you were overpriced for what we received. Being fairly new, I hope these suggestions help you improve as we really want you to succeed!

Delicious food, we highly recommend it. The pork chops were delicious as was the foccacia appetizer, risotto appetizer and about everything else we ordered.

Food was excellent! Our server was excellent, she explained the menu and made wonderful suggestions. Best focaccia bread I have ever tasted. The white lasagna was delicious! Will definitely go again!

Very tasty! Staff was well educated and helped advise on food and drink. Not your typical red sauce/melted mozzarella Italian. Well worth it.
