Richardson's Tavern has been a comfortable haven for American travelers since 1793.
Our cuisine is thoughtfully sourced throughout Vermont.
During the summer growing season we feature fresh produce from our very own 3 acre organic certified Kelly Way Gardens right down Route 106.
The essence of Vermont and flavor-driven plates are paired with a bar featuring local craft brews, hand crafted cocktails, and a wide range of wines by the glass, half bottle, and bottle.
A relaxed atmosphere invites warm conversation and friendly company among friends and family. Dine al fresco on the porch in the warmer months or sink into the oversized lounge chairs fireside for a casual drink or meal.

The restaurant did not have our reservation down and the host was very rude. It was clear when we arrived and left there was plenty of room. We had received a confirmation phone call that day but he said they didn’t do that.

This is a great place to dine with old friends. Food is good, the burgers were exceptional. Fun place and service was excellent and staff was friendly and helpful.

Ugh. The options on the menu are very limited and the server did not understand what gluten free meant (said the ricotta was not gluten free thinking dairy was gluten). I ordered the baked ricotta and the server plopped it down on the table in a skillet but did not warn me that the skillet was burning hot to the touch. The inside of the dish was only lukewarm, and it had no taste whatsoever. My husband, who never returns food, returned his after one bite and we decided not to order anything else and left the restaurant. Bland, poorly cooked food, uneducated server and limited menu choices sum it up.

The food and ambiance were nice - our waiter was pleasant but did not listen to our requests during the meal. Also - the waiters were stacking dishes and prepping for the next morning's service during our meal. The restaurant is too small for this kind of noise. The food quality was excellent.

Delicious and beautifully presented food, wonderful waiter. I had the salmon, very good, my friend had the mushroom pasta dish which we both thought was amazing. Broccolini side was yum, too!

Absolutely loved the Pride Drag Show! The buffet was delicious and inaugural Pride experience priceless. Well done!

All about the great food! My Farrow Salmon was delicious but nothing could top the Key Lime Panna Cotta for dessert. Everything was executed perfectly! I am allergic to tree nuts and I felt the proper care was taken.
