I had high hopes for a celebratory New Year’s Eve dinner, but unfortunately, this restaurant turned out to be a major letdown. Despite the evening’s typically festive nature, the restaurant was surprisingly not as busy as anticipated, with only a handful of tables occupied—a detail that made the service and kitchen delays even more baffling.
We ordered drinks and 2 appetizers and opted to place a to go order for the remaining dinner portion due to the loud ambiance. Our food took over two hours, which is unacceptable under any circumstances, let alone when the restaurant isn’t busy. When the food finally arrived, several orders were incorrect. I had ordered a medium-rare steak, but what I received was a steak so overcooked it could only be described as charred and completely inedible. The texture was tough, and the flavor was nonexistent, leaving me regretting the decision to eat here altogether.
Overall, this was one of the most frustrating dining experiences I’ve ever had. What should have been a memorable New Year’s Eve dinner turned into an exercise in patience and disappointment. I cannot recommend this place, especially if you value good service, timely food, and basic quality control in the kitchen.
