For three decades the name Riccio has been synonymous with fine dining in the desert. Richard and Patricia Riccio set the bar for outstanding Italian cuisine 40 years ago when they opened the original Riccio’s in uptown Palm Springs. Two of their sons, eager to carry on the family tradition, last spring unveiled Riccio’s Steak and Seafood with a new menu concept in a higher profile location downtown. Service and personal attention have been the Riccio’s hallmark and they pledge to continue this tradition.

For the casual diner, Riccio’s offers a relaxed patio presentation for watching downtown Palm Springs unfold while sampling their intriguing, seasonally changing menu. Riccio’s bar faces lively Palm Canyon Drive, and picture windows frame a sculptural fountain.

Very disappointed experience. Lovely weather seated outdoors, friendly staff. Food was really missing the mark. Filet was tasteless, watery fettuccine Alfredo, bread tough. Sadly could not recommend this restaurant.

Great service and nice location + patio seating. Food was good but not amazing. Ordered a whiskey sour (not on drink menu) and was just basic. Steamed mussels were ok, the broth needs more herbs. Halibut was fresh but veggies were cold. Lobster ravioli didn’t have much flavor but rose sauce was good. Overall food could have been warmer. They did offer both my partner and I an unexpected complementary birthday dessert for being open table guests and dining on our birthdays. We just happen to have the same one. Tiramisu was the highlight of our meal.

Always delicious, plentiful and a very friendly staff. Ordered penne bolognese, oysters, Caesar salad, rack of lamb and tiramisu.

Everything about Riccio's was excellent. The service was outstanding! The food was delicious!! I would definitely dine there again.

We went for a double anniversary dinner with another couple and we had very fantastic service, food, drinks, desserts, and had a wonderful time. Definitely would go back.

The dinner food was okay; nice light calamari. The fish special was a little dry. The cassata cake was delicious for dessert. The service was efficient and our waitress was little bit "too" perky. When you are jolted by a server unknowingly approaching your table, that is not a good thing. Overall, a good average rating.

The Veal and Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo were so delicious! Drinks were strong but still very tasty.
