Meticulously restored in Ireland and shipped to the US, Ri Ra embodies everything that you would expect from a genuine Irish Pub. Ri Ra comes from the phrase "Ri Ra agus Ruaile Buaile," a phrase translating roughly as divilment, good fun or any sociable activity that improves with fine food, a nice pint of Guinness or dram of Uisce Beatha (whiskey). Ri Ra can be defined as place or state where exuberance and revelry prevail, where music and merriment compete and the conversation flows smooth as the Guinness ebbs in the glass. Slainte!

We had good time, the musician was very good too and nice interacting with the customer. Our waitress was amazing

Such a disappointing experience! The food was definitely subpar. Our drinks were never refilled until we were done with our food at which point we were ready to leave anyway. Such a shame that there wasn’t even Irish music playing… Missed opportunity there for ambience went to use the salt on our table and it was so hard that it didn’t even move in the shaker

This was a great spot near Belk Theater. Very convenient spot to lots of places uptown. Food was delicious and timing perfect. Our waiter was very on point. Atmosphere was my favorite.

As always, loved the atmosphere. The food was great and the drinks were really good. Will definitely be back and will continue to recommend it to others. Our server must have been having an off night. She brought us water and took our drink orders. She returned with the drinks and we ordered an appetizer and dinner. The dinners came out but not the appetizer. She never asked about more drinks and never refilled our waters. She arrived with the check and there were all empty glasses which she apparently didn’t notice. lol. I tipped her well in spite of all that. Again, I’ll assume it was an off night.

Food was good but a bit too salty. Food took a little longer to get to our table because of large crowd but overall very good experience and we love the Guiness stout on tap as always!

Where to start...I have traveled the world and always seek out Irish pubs, this by far was the worst experience we have had. The food selection is modern American with a sprinkle of Irish dishes. The waitress knew little about the food options. The dishes were greasy and lukewarm. The whiskey selection is poor. She brought us our bill but ran our credit cards for someone else's bill. Overall a horrible experience. Definitely would not waste your money here :(

Waited 20minutes before being able to flag down a waiter for water or drinks, while multiple tables around us were seated afterwards and already had drinks and food. We ordered everything at once because we had the time to finish reading through the menu. Food came out quick. Waiter never came back either to refill waters or check on us. Had to flag him down again to ask for more water and the check. He went and got another table’s order and also proceeded to clean other tables before getting us the water and check. Horrible service for mediocre food.
