Be sure to wear sunglasses; the glare is really bad. The view is great and the layout well designed. The noise level when full is very high as the acoustics provide no sound absorption. The food is very good but pricey, all alacarte. The protector sandwich is quite salty. Our bill with no wine for one sandwich, one fry order and one salad was $100 before tip. The service appeared to be very good but our waitress was lacking, missing in action after we sat down, so we waited awhile for just water and same after entrees arrived, no “do you need anything else”. Unacceptable at these prices.

The Lobster Roll was delicious. The Butterscotch Brulee and the Chocolate Chip cookies were exceptional! And our waitress Sophie was really great! Even some of the other servers gave our Pam birthday greetings as they went by.

Very attentive stuff. Chinese chicken salad and rib eye dip sandwich was tasty. Very elegant decoration. People were dressed up compared to Bay Area standards.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. However, it was noisy and we had to almost shout to hear each other. Too many women in big groups talking. Our service was good, but we felt the server left us hanging a couple times and it seem to get busier and busier. I think the food value was OK. Not very big portions. The AAA 100% STAR goes to the ambience in terms of design.

Service was good but scattered with several people delivering food and bills and taking orders. The artichoke appetizer is very good. The Cesar Salad was over dressed and limp lettuce. I sent it back but had to remind them to take it off the bill. The hamburger is good. It is a place to be seen and very lively and we will try it again.

The setting is the best thing about this restaurant. Food ok. Banana Split great. Prices a bit steep. All that stone makes the noise level a bit high for conversation. Great for a drink and a snack during the day.
