The RH Rooftop Restaurant resides on the third floor of RH Oak Brook, a 60,000-square-foot design gallery that blurs the lines between residential and retail, indoors and outdoors, home and hospitality. I was disappointed. The ambiance was what I thought it would be mostly, but not nearly as elegant as I thought it would be. The limited menu for a Saturday night dinner was disappointing. The price for a sandwich is ridiculous. I understand a places that have a beautiful, extensive menu for dinner where you buy your sides…. But to have to pay for fries? Just overall wouldn’t bother to go here again…

We were early for our reservation and we were seated at the reservation time. Nice table. Waiter showed up after an extended period of time. Took our drink orders and they were delivered after another long wait. Did not come back to table until well after food was delivered. Asked for more water and had to wait another long period periods of time. But he showed up quickly with the bill. The restaurant was busy but there were many wait staff, so they were not understaffed. Food was delicious and the place was lovely.

The restaurant has about the best ambiance you can possibly ask for. The menu is limited, and there are not a lot of high-end options. The food items are also extremely expensive for the casual menu. Huge issue is they only serve beer & wine - would love to see cocktails on the menu.

Very surprised to find out how limited the bar service was. Basically only beer and wine was available- no spirits.

Excellent and friendly service, our server Johnny or Jonathan was great. I feel bad because he deserves better than me forgetting his name. The food is really good just very expensive, but honestly those prices are nothing for someone like me. It is a gorgeous restaurant and I will be taking inspiration for my sixth vacation home I will be purchasing. I highly recommend the shaved ribeye sandwiches, the truffle fries, the appetizer of cheese with strawberry compote, and the potato puree.

What a beautiful restaurant and we were all pleasantly surprised how good the food was. The only complaint would be that it became extremely loud around 6:30pm and would recommend something be done to lesson this as it took away from the experience.

It’s absolutely beautiful inside the RH rooftop. The lighting was chic and truly made the ambiance romantic. The menu is a la cart , I had the salmon and broccoli with crispy artichoke for an appetizer. The waiter was pleasant and acknowledged my husband’s birthday with dessert. We will return for a day time visit.

As always, wonderful!! I’m hearing you are getting rid of the shaved vegetable salad!! Noooo! It’s our favorite!! It’s unique, healthy, flavorful!! I hear it’s to go nut free? Why ? People have gluten allergy - pepper- wheat- soy, etc… people can manage their own allergies like we do but to take away such a great item to manage for a few? Doesn’t seem right. Make without the nuts if you must but please please don’t take this salad off the menu!! That’s a mistake:(

Noise level is deafening. It was very difficult to have a conversation and I had a headache by the time we finished our meal. The food is excellent. The service is good. But something needs to be done to dampen the noise. It’s a beautiful room but just not enjoyable with the decibel level.
