The RH Rooftop Restaurant resides on the fifth floor of RH New York, a 90,000-square-foot design gallery in the heart of the historic Meatpacking District that blurs the lines between residential and retail, indoors and outdoors, home and hospitality. The ambiance of this place is amazing, such a cool location. Our service was sadly incredibly disappointing. Our waiter took our drink and food order, our food came out after about 20 minutes. During this time, my moms wine glass was empty the entire time and we had to get up to ask another associate for another glass. My steak came out and was completely overcooked. Our server never returned. We waited another 20 minutes while my mom finished her food and I finally flagged someone else down to ask for a rare steak like I ordered. He finally comes back and goes oh, you didn’t get your entree yet? And I said no i did, it was very overcooked. Her wine glass was again empty and he did not offer another glass. The green beans were delicious, the shrimp were cooked well but lacked any flavor. Very weird experience, and super disappointing for my last night in NY to treat my mom.

Tooooooooooo expensive! $218 for two lobster rolls, two tiny lobster rolls, 3 drink and one water! 😳😱

The food was amazing as always. The ambience, spectacular. We felt a bit rushed by our waiter who immediately came over (several times) for our meal order after just sitting down and asking for a few minutes. Overall, a delicious and fun dinner. The atmosphere alone is enough of a reason to return!

Place is beautiful - inside and outside. It was a little pricey but worth it for delicious food, great service and beautiful views. I had a grilled shrimp and vegetable salad and can’t stop thinking about it! It was odd that it was tough to get the reservation and couldn’t change it to a slightly earlier time yet it wasn’t that busy. We will be back.

We had high hopes but the vibes here are just off. For the location, prices and brand they’re trying to sell, why isn’t there a bar? There are no cocktails, only beer and wine. We waited over an hour for our dinner entrees without even one word or explanation from our server. The food is decent but then again it’s basically Cheesecake Factory quality. Underwhelmed and would not return.

Had an exceptional evening at RH. Was there with friends and had a very nice evening. Food was very good and served at a leisurely place. Special thanks to our server Kelly for her great service. Crispy Artichoke was a hit as were the burgers.

I don’t not recommend this restaurant at all. It’s very overpriced , the food is not that good. The restaurant is only good for pictures and the aesthetics but the people from the gallery don’t even let you take pictures . Meanwhile they had people laying down on the couches but if you take a picture there’s a problem. Ridiculous!
