Since 1954 the Reversing Falls Restaurant has presided above the waters of the Reversing Falls. Experience local foods while viewing the Reversing Falls Rapids phenomenon. Our chef utilizes seafood from the Maritimes area, including seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Aside from ground floor dining views our facility offers rooftop deck dining during favorable weather, if the rooftop is closed due to weather, you will be seated indoors. Rooftop deck dining is reached by elevator and includes access to the entire rooftop observation area, with a glass-bottom lookout and Theatre which features an entertaining twelve minute film revealing how the Bay of Fundy and The Reversing Falls Rapids works. All public areas of are facility are licensed.

The Alfredo and Carbonara were very good, but the scallops were way over done.

Food was not hot or flavorful. Drinks were weak. Apps and dinner came out at same time. Service not great. Views by window overlooking falls were very nice.

Amazing views, and that’s why you go here. They should be packed every day, but aren’t. And that’s for a reason. Food is edible, but hardly anything special. Servers are very nice, but they are also very inattentive. Spent more time chatting at the podium than serving or checking on guests. This place has SO MUCH potential.

Dramatic setting overlooking the reversing rapids. If you get one of the few tables right along the far edge that overlook the rapids, it's more worth the visit. On our visit, service was very slow and uneven; I think our primary server was new as she seemed a bit confused about taking our order, then forgot to bring us our drinks until we asked for them some time later. Another server ended up bringing us our food. Food was OK but nothing remarkable. I think eating here gave a discount on the rooftop overlook, but that part really isn't necessary as you can get good looks at the rapids from the roadside overlook, the bridge and the overlook on the other side of the bridge. Do go at high tide and at low tide to see the effect of the tides.

We chose this restaurant mainly for the view of the reversing falls. After we parked and as we walked up to the restaurant we were wondering if it was a good choice. The grounds surrounding the exterior of the building were very unkempt. Lots of weeds growing along the walkways that looked they hadn't be cut in weeks if at all. Also gravel, sand and wood chips on the sidewalk by the road that was obviously from passing vehicles and from winter snow and ice management. This should have all been cleaned up by the middle of the summer. However, once inside, the restaurant itself was well maintained, clean and the ambience was very nice. We were shown to our table, which was next to the window and the view was wonderful. However, we had to ask for cutlery, water to drink, and even a salt shaker (there was pepper). The service was quick and the food was hot and good but not exceptional. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Overall it was a good experience but they need to step up their game on outside maintenance.

The view was lovely, but the meal was not. In particular, my partners steak was over cooked and had alot of grizzle. My salmon filet was nice but the mixed veggies were rather bland. My rice pilaf was crunchy. The service was acceptable.

I had the tenderloin tips. They were not seared, served in a beef broth thickened with a cornstarch slurry and not seasoned. They should have been seared, seasoned and MAYBE add a light amount of sauce. Tenderloin isn’t a stew meat..The menu didn’t describe the dish as being “stew adjacent”. The strawberry shortcake was actually a lemon shortcake with strawberries on top. The server was polite when he eventually came to the table to check in, remove finished plates and provide the bill. He had 2 tables(there were 2 servers with 3 tables in the restaurant). The fish and chips were good(the chips were over seasoned)..go for the fish…

This is a hidden an unadvertised gem. We travelled in from Texas and this was a stop on our way north. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves and I think it’s because when I search on Apple Maps, it’s listed as Permanently Closed. It’s absolutely not. I asked about it and they said that it’s something that is connected to their website that is t fixed. There’s not a better view of Reversing Falls in a historic restaurant. We didn’t pay for the view deck but it looked great. The food was very impressive. I’d ignore the bad reviews. Just a side note- the tables and chairs are very high if you know your furniture. We loved it.

Food was okay but very expensive for okay food. The menu could use better options. Not as fine dining as portrayed on the reservation page. Not recommended for a anniversary dinner if your looking for something fancier .
