   Excellent food and service! Celebrated a birthday here with a family of 4. We were quickly seated on what we thought would be a busy St. Patrick's day weekend. Our server brought our drinks very quickly and appetizer arrived within minutes. Our meals also came out very fast and were delicious. Our server was extremely attentive, refilling drinks, and checking in on us. Also ordered dessert which we thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant is a must-visit and we highly recommend!

   I dined here for my lunch break with a few coworkers. Revel has a great lunch menu with an assortment of starters, handhelds, flatbreads, soups, salads, and a few lunch portioned entrees. I got the lobster roll and it was delicious. The buttery roll was overflowing with tender lobster, mayo, lemon, chives, and celery. I ordered fries for my side, but could have also ordered slaw or chips or a salad for a small up-charge.

   Huge disappointment. Our group came here for lunch before a show at Heinz Hall since it was within walking distance. Extremely slow service with just three other tables while we were there. Grilled chicken salads were mediocre. Sat for 40 minutes before we were given our drinks and sat another 10 minutes after that to order our food. Once we received our food, there was no followup other than to see if we wanted our check. What a waste of money and two hours of our day.

   Overall experience was very good. They were a little behind with reservations, but it was Valentines weekend. That enabled us to explore the area and try out the Space bar. Service and staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good.

   The exceptional response by management turned a potentially bad experience into a great one. My wife and I shared a "Valentine's Dinner" at Revel last night. Our initial food order proved to be far less than desirable. Within a minute of sharing our disappointment with management, we each ordered a different entreé, which happened to be 8 oz. Filet Mignon, which were perfectly prepared and downright delicious! Thank you to management and a shout out to our server Hailey for going that extra mile !!! We are extremely appreciative!

    The risotto was so overcooked it was like little pebbles. The rest of the meal was delicious.
