Revel is a refined American restaurant and Gastro Bar located in Downtown Pittsburgh, steps from Market Square. Revel has a classic breakfast offering as well as a unique lunch and dinner menu. Our diverse hand-crafted cocktail options, including our famous 'Fire of 1845', along with our ample beer and wine selections offer something for everybody. Food was delicious. Service was great. Volume was Percy we had a group of 8 and we had no problem hearing each other!

Hostess was nowhere to be found for multiple minutes upon arriving for our reservation. Almost all servers/bartenders were just standing around talking rather than being attentive to patrons… several dirty tables. It also took over 25 minutes for my wife to get her drink and the place was not busy at all. Luckily the food was good overall to save this from being a complete zero. Unless the staff gets some more training and they clean up the place some, likely not going back - which is sad because the place has potential.

I had a great breakfast here. Allison was awesome! Her food recommendations were great. My coffee cup was never empty. She was incredibly attentive and patient with another customer, who was very demanding. I will come back for breakfast.

It was ok. Food was delivered fast and was delicious. Drinks too very long to receive and service was slow.

food and atmosphere was very good, but the parking in downtown Pittsburgh is too expensive. There is a parking garage in same building as Revel on Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh, pa, which is very convenient to park, but there was an event going on that evening, and the parking was $25 event price! I was meeting my husband there for dinner, so we both had to pay $25/PP!!! Outrageous! I feel that if a restaurant is in the city, they should offer free or discounted parking, but this restaurant did not, so will definitely think twice again going there for dinner especially if the parking cost more than one entree!!! We asked if they validated parking, but they said only if you were a guest in the hotel (which they also provide parking for). Again, will think twice again before going for dinner due to parking fees!

I've been here 3 times. Everytime has been enjoyable. The food is great. Nouveau to comfort food.

This was our third visit and again we had great service and great food. We enjoy sitting at the high top enjoying the atmosphere with the doors open with views on the street.

We had a wonderful evening. Our server, Kayla was terrific. Food was wonderful. It was crowded so it was noisy, but to be expected.
