The hostess, Mariah, was especially friendly, welcoming and made the visit to the restaurant very special . You are lucky to have her working at the front desk.

Outstanding experience here while celebrating a 35 year wedding anniversary and a birthday. The staff treated us very well and the Short Rib entree was excellent!!! For dessert, we were treated to New York Style Cheesecake which was delicious!! Overall, a great experience for dinner.

The ambiance of the restaurant was the best part of the experience. The food was good but nothing that would want to make me return. The service was not great. Waitress came and took the drink orders. She then returned to take food orders. Food was brought by a different person. Waitress didn't come to check on us once. She eventually came back to tell us she was leaving since it was the end of shift and handed us the bill. She mentioned that someone else was taking the service of the table but that person didn't come by at all. It's like we had paid the bill and the next shift didn't want to be bothered with us. Won't be returning.

We visited Revel & Rye Bar and Restaurant before a Broadway performance. Very nice ambiance as it was elegant and chill. We thought it was a rooftop setting but it is not. Rather it has a large window that views out to the street but we were not seated in that area. We were pleased with where we were placed and our visit set the tone for a good show following our meal.

Stayed at the Marriot Marquis from 8/12 to 8/15, decided to eat at Revel and Rye Tuesday and Wednesday, or at least attempt to try to eat there Wednesday. Tuesday we sat down to eat and the wait staff was slow but attentive to our needs. Guess they were under staffed for the customers at such a late hour (we sat down at 10:00pm) Tried to eat there again on Wednesday at 9:15pm, while we seated quickly, we went 15mins with out anyone even acknowledging our presence beyond the water guy. Even though the two tables adjacent to us we both being serviced by the wait staff, we were ignored. So we left after 15 mins of no service. The food was decent the first night which is why we chose to eat there again before our night on the town, but sadly, they had other plans

Service was terrible. Sat for over 20 minutes without any server coming to our table with no greeting or drink service. Had to ask someone twice to get a server to our table to take our order.

Did buffet. Bread was hard, no plain bagels and asked waitress for one never got, eggs were not good and muffins were dry. So many good places in the city and next time will explore.

Everything was WONDERFUL!!! The buffet is over $42.00 per person. That is a bit overkill for the type of food served. All the food tasted good and there were many choices. However, I felt like I was eating cafeteria food. There was no omelet station, there was not a lot of options for individuals with food allergies as a lot of the food was processed food. EVERTHING ELSE was superb!
