A family run & award winning restaurant that has been serving this beautiful city for over a decade. Our menu features the choicest best dishes that bring you the real Indian food experience is 100% vegetarian with about 97% vegan options. We take pride in serving authentic Indian food that is made fresh each day using traditional recipes, finest & best ingredients & most importantly love. Experience our heart warming service with a smile. Our family has been vegetarian for generations & over these many years have discovered & mastered the ways of taste that make meat free eating a truly joyful experience. For those who are familiar with our name, we are the same little restaurant that once stood at Opie Street & stood atop the list of of Indian restaurant in Norfolk (Tripadvisor). While COVID took away the place & rank, your love & support brought us to a new bigger space.

Good Indian food and nice service. Quiet. Price is reasonable, there’s a 12.5% service fee added.

We have visited this restaurant often in the past and thoroughly enjoyed the authentic Gujarati dishes. Unfortunately on this visit we were very disappointed as the wonderful previous menu had been replaced by a short menu. Our starters were disappointing in taste and we felt that we could have bought these in any high street supermarket!! The main ingredient in all the starters was overwhelmingly potatoe. Nothing like the previous authentic gujerati fare. We used to absolutely love the “chat platter” from the previous menu. The similar dishes on the new menu proved extremely underwhelming. Seemed to us that there was a new chef on the scene who has no idea of cooking these dishes!! We will definitely not be going back there and will not recommend it to anyone else.

I think the service could’ve been better. Some of the furniture was tatty and also the food could’ve been better.

Completely amazing, best curry I have ever had and all the sides where also amazing, definitely going to be going back again and can't wait. People need to try!!

Good food, terrible service. They brought our drinks over one by one with it taking about half an hour between the first and the last drink. By the time we finally had all of our drinks we had finished the poppadoms but had not yet ordered our mains. The food was good when it eventually arrived, though they gave us the bill before we’d finished eating and had added an automatic service charge of 12.5%. Adding a tip on our behalf would annoy me even if the service was great, but giving yourself a large tip on such poor service is beyond a joke.

The food was delicious and the portions generous, certainly well above the standard of the average Indian restaurant. The one waiter who looked after us was very friendly and the service was excellent. I would certainly go there again. My only criticism was that it was very quiet, but it was a cold and wet Tuesday evening, and it meant that we could take our time, and chat together.

The Thali dishes we had really were very tasty, would certainly have that again. The only problem we had was having to put up with a rather self centred young person who thought it was acceptable to talk to her friend on the phone at the top of her voice with them on loud speaker. When we kindly asked her to tone it down a little we were confronted with abuse! Shame some people are just not considerate to others, think she needs to go back to finishing school, or a year in the military may help!
