   This place is simply exceptional! The food is amazing (and presented beautifully). The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the people are wonderful. We dined as a family with a 4-year-old in tow. It was his birthday, and they went the extra mile to present him with a little cake and sang to him which he loved. This is a perfect place to have a nice night out and it is worth every cent.

   Beautiful restaurant. Service was amazing. They paid attention to details and did special little touches before the meal, when served and at the end of the meal. The Executive Chef even came out and explained the special entrees for the night. Wonderful experience and evening!

   We dined at Sofia more than once during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed each evening. From the moment you arrive you are greeted by a friendly group, from the hostess to the owners and servers. Their Mediterrainian fare is all delicious, perfectly prepared and presented. The ambiance is relaxed and fun, and you are made feel like family.

   We ended up eating here for one lunch and two dinners. All of the meals were very good relative to the other places we ate in town. The specials change daily to keep the menu interesting . The staff were all exceptionally friendly on all visits….loved Charlie especially.

   Beautiful atmosphere, easy parking, and very friendly staff. Menu is diverse so something for everyone. They have one of the best wine lists in Tamarindo and their sommelier was very helpful. We will definitely return.

   One of our best meals yet in Tamarindo. We had the homemade ravioli stuffed with fig and the chateaubriand! Both were to die for... best beef I have had in ages. The executive chef coming to the table to explain the specials was an added bonus. We will be coming back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   Excellent customer service from entry to exit. Owner/head chef also interacts with every table and explains menu/specials. Tucked away from the craziness of Tamarindo’s busy street. Large parking lot. Beautiful ambience inside and out but recommend you sit outside. Live soft music added to the ambience. Great quality food!
