For a truly special dining experience, visit the AAA Three Diamond Award-winning Bamboo Restaurant, tucked away at the exclusive Tortuga Bay. Immerse yourself in a culinary journey where locally sourced ingredients meet Mediterranean inspirations, crafting a harmonious fusion on every plate in a cozy, graceful setting designed by Oscar de la Renta. Vegetables served at Bamboo are grown in our own organic gardens.

For breakfast we offer a unique menu with organically grown fresh squeezed juices, Local Fresh Brewed Coffee and wholesome dishes made to order. For lunch, try one of our healthy platters that can be enjoyed in Bamboo or while soaking in the sun beside the pool. Also, any time of day, we serve our diverse selection of gourmet coffees and international teas.

Joseph Stine the food and beverage manager has an extra ordinary menu to present and last night there was an excellent jazz quartet outside at the dining room which is located poolside amongst a tropical setting The staff, the service, the food and the presentation never disappoints. Tonight is a seafood special night menu presented by Mr. Joseph Stine himself. Can’t wait to dine.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had over and over and over again. Bamboo is one of the best restaurants in the world.

The meal was as good as any Michelin star restaurant. Christian the head chef is amazing. I wish I could create food like this. I’ll be back again and again that’s how good everything was. Service, ambience, was great. Noise level? There was no noise. Just how I like it.

This is our third time in Dominican Republic and we always make several reservations during our stay at Bamboo Restaurant. It is always outstanding and never, ever disappoints. We have tried the red snapper Mediterranean, red snapper in green sauce,seafood risotto, eggplant tomale and so much more. Every dish was so flavorful. Going back again tomorrow night before we leave.

This is our 3rd visit to the Tortuga Bay resort. Our favorite restaurant has always been Bamboo Restaurant. Last evening was very disappointing. The hostess and waiter were engaged in conversation so near our table it did not provide a quiet intimate atmosphere… also found the menu to be very limited and we don’t remember such. We ended up leaving the table and returning to our room. $150 was charged for 1 starter, 1 very small piece of snapper and 2 drinks… they delivered it to our room and we paid it!

Fantastic experience. Food was very very good, live jazz music was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. Top place we dined at entire trip.

So good we came back a second time during our stay. The snapper entree was delicious. The pasta appetizer more than enough to share for 2. Excellent service. We even received a special dessert in honor of our anniversary.

Excellent meal in a beautiful outdoor relaxing setting! The service was excellent but not overly intrusive. I suggest to highlight a photo of the outdoor dining and bar area vs. the dated empty dining room. This restaurant is a gem- twinkling lights and all! A welcoming bar area with plenty of comfortable seating areas as well.
