Beautiful table and view. Sadly food from the set menu not very good. (Fish was overcooked to the point it was a little rubbery). Panna cotta dessert was great though!

Without a dowt an extremely lavish and outstanding place to eat, the view itself makes the dining experience 5 star. Myself and my wife both work as cooks and have a slight idea as regards the whole etiquette and how things should be done so that said the service was extremely professional and politely done . Loved their attention to service with each person having specific roles to do during the meal. Very professional. All in all the food was very well prepared and tasted very nice and was well seasoned , extremely eye catching, only one complaint as regards the main course of saffron cod , the sauce that came with it didn’t have a wow factor as regards taste but a minor complaint. For a 5 str hotel the food is priced accordingly but in truthfulness you can get easily as tasty dishes around Venice for half the price but you won’t get the view that comes with the dining experience. Overall as a huge positive thank you for the lovely Venice dining experience, I will recommend anyone to eat there once in the life and perfect for my wife’s 50th birthday

An absolutely amazing time at this restaurant! Superb staff, delicious food and drink, and wonderful ambience in the terrace overlooking the waters and gondolas and the regata! Could have more coolers as the weather was very hot and humid.

Fantastic view. Extremely hot for lunch in summer, not recommended Appetizers pretty good Entrees terrible. The pasta was hardly edible Octopus bland and tasteless It took the 45 mins to serve a forgettable rissotto too Price, ridiculous for the whole experience

Wir haben unseren Tisch für 21:30 Uhr reserviert, da es der einzig freie war. Zu allererst- wenn man keinen guten Service mehr abliefern kann, sollte man in der Preiskategorie auf eine erneute Belegung verzichten, da der Kunde mit einem gewissen Anspruch kommt. Wir bestellten eine Flasche Champagner, keine zwei Minuten später wollte man schon das Essen aufnehmen, wir baten darum erstmal in Ruhe anzukommen und gemütlich das erste Glas Champagner zu trinken. Das Essen unserer Tochter könne man allerdings gerne schon zubereiten- das wollte man nicht. Leider kam der Service in den folgenden zehn Minuten noch drei mal um die Bestellung aufzunehmen, die Frage bis wann bestellt werden muss blieb unbefriedigend beantwortet. Somit hatten wir schon keine Lust mehr und bestellen unser Essen. Die Qualität der Speisen war 1a, doch das ist es in Italien in jeder besseren Trattoria - wenn der Service nicht passt, ist es einfach unbefriedigend. Den Nachtisch haben wir uns gespart, worauf das Persinal uns ungefragt die Rechnung brachte, unsere Flasche Champagner war nicht einmal leer. Die letzten Gläser wurden uns eingeschenkt, mit der Ansage dass die Flasche nun leer ist - eine neue wurde uns nicht angeboten. Auch nicht mit Verweis auf die Bar im Erdgeschoss. Ich kann der gestrigen Crew wärmstens empfehlen das Gritti Palace oder das St. Regis für ein Abendessen zu besuchen…da könnten sie einiges lernen. Die Aussicht war atemberaubend und das Hotel insgesamt traumhaft schön, doch ein schöner Teller reicht hier nicht.

Leider wurde die mangelnde Aufmerksamkeit und der fehlende Service an diesem Abend durch eine Reihe von Faktoren verursacht, die zu einer schlechten Erfahrung führten. Es tut mir wirklich leid, dass wir Ihren Erwartungen nicht gerecht wurden und ich hoffe, dass Sie uns in Zukunft die Chance geben werden, Abhilfe zu schaffen, falls Sie Ihre Reise nach Venedig zurückbringt. The view at this rooftop restaurant is outstanding and the food was very good. However, the service was terrible with the exception of the sommelier. We had to ask for water, to order and to speak to the sommelier multiple times. This was not due to lack of staffing. There were several people dedicated to working with our table. For the price point, it was extremely disappointing and we were guests staying in the hotel. The hotel service was excellent.

Well it costs what it costs but it's worth it. Everything was outstandingly good. Superb staff, very friendly and accommodating. Fantastic food in good sized portions. And the view does not disappoint. An all-round very special experience.
