A British Tasting Menu experience for Dinner, and shorter Set Menu for Lunch - tucked away in London’s Smithfield the dining room overlooks the historical Church of St Bartholomew the Great. We received our first Michelin Star in March 2023 and were awarded a Michelin Green Star in February 2024 - making us the only London restaurant to hold both awards.

The food was outstanding. We liked the eastern/Japanese basis of the menu, high quality ingredients cooked with love, demonstrating classic techniques. We liked how they start you in the lounge for aperitifs and amouse-bouche and we liked that the chefs came to tell us about their dishes. The service was exceptional.

An incredible experience through and through. The food some of the best I’ve eaten, the conversations with the staff about the food and drink processes were particularly great. Lovely location and view on to the church too. Thanks for a fantastic afternoon.

Excellent food and great service, actually quite good value for money given the technical level. Get in there before it gets another Michelin star!

I used to work at Barts hospital many years ago so I know the area well. The restaurant is located in a quite close. Nice bar area next to open plan kitchen to chill and have a drink while waiting for other guests to arrive. The snacks they served us were literally divine. Food was fantastic, we had 6 bottles of with dinner (there were 6 of us) arrived at 7 and left at 11.30. One of the best mitchelin star restaurants I have been too in London. Very good traditional British food.

What an excellent way to celebrate my wife's birthday! Utterly exceptional - in every way - from the moment we arrived to the second we left. Warm, comfortable, spacious, gracious - everything that SO many London restaurants are not. Wonderful snacks, wine pairings, extra courses - easily on a par with the two Michelin star Da Terra - every mouthful of every course is utterly delicious. Price wise, this exceeds most people's budgets - but do try a restaurant of this quality at least once in your life - even if it blows the budget for the next few months. One of those meals you will never, ever forget!
