Pierrot is a refined yet comfortable and relaxed, friendly restaurant run by our several generation restaurateur family. We are located in a 13th century old bakery house with an enchanting hidden garden and featuring live piano music every night!

The kitchen is lead by Mr Lajos Lutz, the menu features contemporary interpretations of Hungarian specialities.

Since Pierrot was founded in 1982 it has gone through several changes but one thing has remained: In our family gastronomy is not merely a way of making a living but also a vocation in the best sense of the word.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Pierrot!

                                      It has been a perfect dinner. Ákos has made our evening, with a personal and tasteful touch in his service. The chefs have prepared a great meal. The piano player has accompanied the evening with delightful music , and the restaurant atmosphere has made the whole experience romantic and unique. Just great. Best experience in Budapest, and actually best restaurant in a while across Europe.

                                      Amazing food, service and ambience. We had delicious lobster bisque, chicken paprika and ravioli. The spatzel was excellent but I was a bit disappointed in the goulash which lacked the flavor or spice I was expecting. Overall highly recommended.

                                      Simplify here, but I categorize businesses as either trying or giving up. This restaurant is clearly trying very hard. Actually, I could not find any instances where they did not exceed expectations. The person who checked us in was sweet, the waitress was very nice and the pianist was spot on. The food was incredible and the wine pairing was great. 10 plus plus. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant!!!!

                                      We had a great meal and a great time, really enjoyed the live piano. The servers were great and very knowledgeable about the wines which we appreciated. Nice cozy atmosphere, definitely recommend!
