First day of the new menu drop... tried too many things to eat all of it at one meal, and it was graciously boxed for me in the kitchen, which I really appreciate. Every thing was delicious and beautifully plated. Presence at the table, information about the menu, ingredient sourcing and excellent suggestion for an accompanying glass of wine were all a part of Kyle's outstanding service. The quiet table in the corner enabled conversation, despite one guest's hearing difficulties, and although the noise level rose understandably as the other tables filled, we could still easily enjoy each other's company. Will definitely return.

We waited over an 1 hour from the placement of our food order to being served our meal. Other patrons who arrived after us ate and left before our meal was served. The waiter informed us that there was a snag in the kitchen. Once served, the quality of the meal was excellent. 4940 has been a favorite of ours since their opening because of the quality of the food, level of service, and the ambiance. This was a disappointment!

The food was pretty good but very expensive for what you get. $15 for a shrimp cocktail appetizer that is just 3 shrimp. Then when ordering our mains we asked if they sides were a shareable size and we were told they were so we were very surprised when our order of asparagus came out and it was just 3 spears. For $8. The service was slow but everyone was nice when they did come over to our table. The cocktails were good and the atmosphere was nice, if a little cramped. It’s good for a date night if you want high-end feeling and you’re not very hungry. We probably won’t be back because the cost wasn’t worth it for us

Very well designed menu. Enough choices and flavor profiles to meet almost every palate without being too much. Great service to complement the food and spirit offerings. I highly recommend to those who like elegant food done well.
