We thoroughly enjoyed our visit - the food was fantastic. Our only thought was that starters at £15/£16 were a bit expensive.

The service was excellent as was the food. The staff were very accommodating and attentive. Highly recommend this gem.

We chose the set menu and really enjoyed it: very nice food, good portions and excellent value for money. Service was very friendly and attentive.

We had supper at Restaurant Dominic Chapman. The food was delicious, every member of our group thought so. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely return and would be happy to recommend it in future.

Visited with a friend for dinner, and we had a fantastic time from start to finish. Our waitress, Samantha, was amazing. She made us feel so special and had a very friendly personality, which enhanced our entire dinner experience. The other staff were great too. The food was cooked to perfection, and every single dish was delicious. The Bin end wine was superb and went really well with our Duck and Steak dish! Special thanks to the Head Chef for accommodating our special requests for the trifle recommended by the next table—it was superb! We look forward to our next visit very soon and would recommend everyone to visit this restaurant. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Booked afternoon tea as friend from Australia had come to visit. However, I was very disappointed. We were sat in the conservatory which was great as it was a nice summers day. Girl came over and asked if we would like some tea, weren’t informed what tea selection were on offer. So just went for normal English breakfast. When the tea finally arrived it was ice cold. Afternoon tea arrived. With different sandwiches than were on the menu. Menu we were give had egg mayo and smoked salmon on a bagel. However, we got cheese and tomato and smoked salmon on a small bit of rye bread. Scones were fantastic! A real shame as the place has great potential.

This is a lovely restaurant that obviously needs some serious marketing. As others have mentioned, it was very quiet but it shouldn't be. The standard of food is excellent (with the exception of an overcooked egg to accompany the delicious asparagus) and the quality of the restaurant and the decor are top notch. Get out there and sell the place! The price, for such a lovely venue and the quality of the food, is very reasonable.

Very nice restaurant with lovely food and excellent service. There weren’t many other guests so there wasn’t much atmosphere but we still enjoyed it.

Came for evening food, got given the breakfast menu, not a great start. Ordered sides they got forgotten. At the end of the meal ordered a ruby port and a glass came with a light liquid!! Quite clearly not a ruby port. Young girl serving us was brilliant,she explained she was only 17 so didn't know about alcohol, barman had clearly made a mistake! Food was lovely but very overpriced.

First visit to the restaurant and it was lovely. The staff were very efficient without being intrusive. The food and wine selection was excellent. Overall a great evening and one we will repeat.
