A6:30 dinner on a rather slow Thursday night in early September. Sat at window inside rather than endure the large number of outdoor seating smokers (whatever they were smoking). Watched the street life while enjoying drinks and appetizers. Followed on with a chicken dish (her) and my bowl of mussels & frites (me). I was so happy with the large serving size of very fresh mussels prepared with a chop of celery, carrot, onion in a bit more of natural broth. So good! Service was present but not overly attentive. It’s not a big place, just off a busy road.

Food - fish was very small compared to the packaging what it was brought in. Tasted after nothing.

Our burger was pretty good. Service slow. Great location near our hotel. We ate inside and the ambiance was very nice. Outside seating on the canal was very cool.

Amazing meal, GF catered for without an issue. Attentive service. Food delicious as was the wine and ofcourse the cocktails fantastic

Good food and drinks are to be found at this nice staple of beautiful downtown Amsterdam, in The Netherlands. Good central location, good steaks as well .

Worst service I’ve experienced in Amsterdam. Waiter threw the menus on our table without a word of welcome. When we asked to replace fries with salad the rude response was “We don’t change’ We were not asked what we wanted to drink, in spite of having a reservation we were told ‘sit anywhere’ then waited 10 mins before anyone came to our table. The service was so bad we left without eating. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS.
