Experience award-winning fine dining in a modern, contemporary setting while supporting our highly talented students on their journey to professional excellence. Restaurant at Birmingham College of Food offers top quality food and service delivered by students training on our chef, food service courses under the guidance of industry expert tutors at University College Birmingham.

Restaurant provides exceptional value for money for high levels of cooking, service, creative flair and quality seasonal produce. Our Dinner Menu might include delicious fish and shellfish, premium beef, lamb, poultry or game, and imaginative vegetarian dishes. This runs alongside a lunchtime menu providing excellent value for money. The restaurant also draws on a dedicated pastry section where our skilled student chefs produce an array of elegant desserts.

Outstanding as usual. First day for the new students but they fared well. The food was divine as expected.

The food here is exceptionally good—innovative, well-prepared and delicious. It’s as good as any high-quality restaurant which makes it very good value at £30 for 3 courses (lunch). Service is by well-supervised students, some of whom are closer to the start of their journey in hospitality than others and thus lack a bit of confidence and experience. All wait staff are charming though. The atmosphere is relaxed , informal and mercifully quiet—it is possible to hold a conversation without shouting to be heard. Highly recommend.

Great food and service , though issues with card systems at the end of lunch. Difficult to find any parking places close by.

College of Food restaurant offers an excellent meal at a very competitive price. The students serving are always doing their best to please the customers & although they may struggle occasionally it is always done with a smile. I definitely recommend this restaurant & I shall be returning in the autumn.

Great value. Top quality food. Recent lunch excellent e.g. outstanding Guinea Fowl, lamb and pork. Good selection of terrific value wines.

The food was amazing quality and extremely good value for this kind of food. We were served by a very polite, friendly and helpful young man called Harry. We will definitely go again.

Food was delicious but only two small slices of lamb. The chocolate mousse dessert was excellent as was the rose wine. Very good value for money. Our waitress was polite but very quiet perhaps she was nervous.
