Experience award-winning fine dining in a modern, contemporary setting while supporting our highly talented students on their journey to professional excellence. Restaurant at Birmingham College of Food offers top quality food and service delivered by students training on our chef, food service courses under the guidance of industry expert tutors at University College Birmingham.

Restaurant provides exceptional value for money for high levels of cooking, service, creative flair and quality seasonal produce. Our Dinner Menu might include delicious fish and shellfish, premium beef, lamb, poultry or game, and imaginative vegetarian dishes. This runs alongside a lunchtime menu providing excellent value for money. The restaurant also draws on a dedicated pastry section where our skilled student chefs produce an array of elegant desserts.

                                              College of Food restaurant offers an excellent meal at a very competitive price. The students serving are always doing their best to please the customers & although they may struggle occasionally it is always done with a smile. I definitely recommend this restaurant & I shall be returning in the autumn.

                                              The food was amazing quality and extremely good value for this kind of food. We were served by a very polite, friendly and helpful young man called Harry. We will definitely go again.

                                              Food was delicious but only two small slices of lamb. The chocolate mousse dessert was excellent as was the rose wine. Very good value for money. Our waitress was polite but very quiet perhaps she was nervous.

                                              We are regular diners at UCB & enjoy every aspect of the experience. Great food served by really nice students supervised by excellent tutors. Shame they have to close for the summer. Faultless

                                              The staff were outstanding! They were all professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We gave feedback on the food issues and they were received well. I think the layout needs attention, though. The tables were a bit mismatched and it would have been nice to have an area to put bags and coats. Some much needed decoration would certainly create a nice ambience and match the great service and beautifully presented food.
