Situated at the base of the beautiful Seven Falls, Restaurant 1858's menu and decor are inspired by the Colorado Gold Rush. Featuring from scratch, seasonal, local, and wood fire grilled Colorado cuisine and cocktails.

Lunch: Served from 11am to 4pm, featuring an a la carte menu with prices ranging from $9-21 for appetizers; $22-36 for sandwiches & plated lunches; and desserts from $12.

Dinner: Served from 5pm to 8pm, featuring an a la carte menu with prices ranging from $9-21 for appetizers; $24-58 for entrees; and desserts for $12 (not inclusive of taxes, PIF & gratuities).

When asked for table with a view she sat us by the door when there were lovely tables in the back near the falls.. not welcoming.. made reservations well in advance..

Food was good, got an appetizer, before we finished the bought out a wonderful chef’s creations as a gift, still eating what we had then our main course came out, then our bread service. In and out or what we hoped would be a relaxing 90-120 min. Dinner in 60 minutes.

Food good but Portion small and hamburger bun was hard. Ended up just taking the top part of bun off.

The views and the experience was awesome. The food alone would make me come back. We enjoyed everything about it.

We could not have asked for a better experience. The staff was welcoming and incredibly intuitive to our needs. We cannot wait to come back!

Was so looking forward to this dining experience. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Menu was different than what we saw when booking and food was just fair at best. For the price the quality of food should have been much better.

For an upscale restaurant situated where it is, the decor is in perfect balance with its surroundings, a style that's both elegant and a touch rustic. The same might be said of the menu. The cuisine is admittedly pricey and the selections are a bit limited, but the quality of the food was very good and the service top notch. My wife and I both had the Colorado Rocky Mountain Red Trout for lunch. For variety's sake, we chose different preparations of the fish. She went with the Western Slope version and I had the Cast Iron Classic. Both were delicious but we agreed hers was better.

I couldn't click submit until I clicked on the tallest bar. I'm not sure what that meant. The reality was, the noise level was close to none. I was sitting outdoors and loved the sound of water while dining. It was music to my soul, not noise.

Perfect except the waffle bubble truck closed early. We were there at 2:30, so we were unable to get them. 😞
