At Restaurant 1818 you will dine in what was originally the Men's and Ladies’ Parlors of the Main House. These two parlors are adorned with authentic period crystal gasoliers. These impressive reproduction chandeliers and wall sconces were custom made for Monmouth by the artisans at Waterford Crystal in Ireland.

Guests have complete dining freedom when they reserve a table at Restaurant 1818. Here guests can select menu items on an a la carte basis from the gourmet appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, and desserts offered that evening. A full wine list and wine by the glass program is available to ensure your dining experience is the very best Natchez has to offer!

Private dining by candlelight is also offered for 8 to 12 people at the main dining room table. This room exemplifies the elegant dining experience which has been customary since the days of John and Eliza Quitman.

We’ve stayed at Monmouth and eaten there several times. The lamb lollipop and fried green tomato appetizers were DELICIOUS!!! My husband had the filet and said it was good but not as good for the higher price. I had the redfish and it would have been delicious but it was over cooked and very dry. The service was excellent. We know sometimes things are just off. We will return. It’s a beautiful setting. We celebrated our anniversary there.

Simply wonderful. Food was extordinary, service was impeccable and the atmosphere and ambience were wonderful. I highly recommend 1812.

Restaurant 1818 at Monmouth is an absolute jewel of Natchez, MS. We have dined here three times now and every experience has been perfection. The service and food are excellent. The ambiance is extraordinary . I thoroughly enjoy the music softly performed by the live pianist . I feel as though I am transported through time as we dine surrounded by this beautiful historic home that I adore. Thank you to the staff that take such good care of us each time we visit .

This was our second time dining here and it was excellent!! We started with the fried green tomato appetizer with crab meat. Our entrees were the filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and the grilled porkchop and greens and sweet potatoes. It was all prepared to perfection and the tastes were superb. The atmosphere is quiet, historic, and elegant. Our server was excellent. This prices are a bit high, but it was worth it. Thanks to all!

Our waitstaff, Dao, was great. She attended ojr every need and was very courteous. The meal was prepared exactly how we requested and was wonderful. We would definitely return.
