Res American Bistro is a casual, yet elegant two level dining destination perfect for every occasion. Make a “Res” for a casual bite, a special night out, and everything in between! Our menu features fresh takes on contemporary favorites such as lobster tempura, roasted baby lamb chops, handmade pastas, and our 20-day butter aged NY Sirloin. Make sure to also check us out for our Spectacular Sunday Brunch every third Sunday of the Month!

    Res was fantastic, per usual. Our favorite restaurant! We celebrated our anniversary. Res is always attentive to my food allergies and my wife’s gluten free needs. Logan was our waiter - he’s the best! We sat upstairs for the first time, which was great! Chef Evan never disappoints. Thank you!

    We had an early dinner as we had tickets to a show at the Met. This is one of our favorite restaurants when we have a show to attend. We have always had excellent service without feeling rushed and always finish in time to get to our shows without having to rush. We had the octopus appetizer which was very good and I had the seafood risotto which is a favorite of mine here. We were seated on the second floor which was a first at a lovely table that overlooks the street and sunset. It was quiet and romantic way to start our date.

    One of the more interesting menus in Providence. Everything we ordered was creative, cooked and presented beautifully, and perfectly delicious. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive and personable. Drink menu is diverse and offers something for every taste. Outstanding lobster tempura (that’s right - lobster tempura🦞❤️) and duck confit. Highly recommended, but do make a reservation! Cannot wait to try their brunch…..

    We loved everything about it! The space is beautiful, the food was excellent, and the service was great! Any time I’m in Boston I’ll make a reservation!
