The sword fish was excellent! But I think it is ridiculous to charge excessively for a ravioli dish and give you four tiny ravioli!

We really enjoyed dining at Renard's Bistro and will definitely be going back. We tried 2 different pastas (Crab Fettucine, Cacio e Pepe Bucatini) a pizza (Margherita) and shared a Caesar salad. Everything was fresh and delicious and our server was great! They are located in the Foxtown Annex building, and connected to the Elevens cocktail lounge, so parking in back of the Annex is the easiest access.

Came here later than hoped on a Friday night, but they held our reservations and accommodated our delayed arrival. So glad we didn’t cancel! Food was outstanding and service was exceptional. We would go back!

We ordered from their new fall Menu. Had the snapper, the Boulenese, and the squash ravioli. The squash ravioli was light on flavor, but all the entrees were good. Bread pudding and 20 year tawny port for dessert. Very good. Servicer Travis was very attentive and pleasant. After dinner went outside and enjoyed the live music and stayed warm beside the fire pit. We’ll be coming back.

Our food was excellent but was lukewarm by the time it arrived at our table. Our entrees sat on a counter, waiting to be delivered to our table, while servers' attention was focused on an event in another space in the building. The bar and restaurant are in separate, attractive spaces, each with their own entrance, so that he bar and adjacent outdoor patio can host live music without disrupting diners. Renard's is a good addition to the Mequon dining scene. I will visit again and hope for more attentive service.

Great Italian Menu. Excellent Service. Enjoyable music afterward outside on the firepit patio. (Disappointed they were out of the Tawney Port listed on their dessert menu.)

The wine pairing was amazing. I really enjoyed the information. I would have preferred to sit with just my group versus family style.

Renards featured ingredients that can be found in other menus (morels, dry-aged beef, duck, special cheeses, heritage meats, preserved lemon) used in diverse preparations (from a burger to duck confit, to scallops and lemon-preserve tortellini). The atmosphere and serving was intimate (maybe 50 seats?) and elegant with a personal feel to the service. I was underdressed compared to the decor, but welcomed and comfortable during service - it was fine with them. Their goal may be to bring a higher level of dining experience to all pocketbooks - The price was very affordable for this degree of quality - 105$ for 2 - Appetizer, 2 entrees, dessert, drinks. It was a special anniversary treat for us, but we plan on returning frequently.

Excellent service with friendly staff. The food was definitely the highlight. Pasta was fresh and flavorful. We had the black garlic Alfredo, duck carbonara, and the scallops and tortellini. The pizza sauce is not the most flavorful, but the crust and toppings were great. Staff went the extra mile to offer a free dessert as we were celebrating a birthday! The Primavera cake was light and refreshing and the perfect end to our meal.
