Just okay all the way around. Our server was fine , he informed us of the 3 dishes they were out of and substitutes.

Just ok. Nothing horrible but nothing great. Not worth the price. Other options with similar pricing have better tasting food. Service and ambiance solid.

Food was very good, the French fries alone may have been the best ever! We had a burger and a salad and both were plentiful. And an old timer like me enjoyed a pint of Schlitz on tap! Definitely would come back every time I’m in Chicago!

First of all, Kirk was an exceptional server and completely made our entire evening! He was on top of recommendations, and went out of his way to find two perfect wines for us. Kirk was calm, cool, collected and very professional. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and took really good care of our table. We had an out of town guest and he was quite impressed with the fare, ambiance, selection of bourbons and wines, and the overall experience. I love taking guests to Remington's because it is a guaranteed EXCELLENT dining experience in downtown Chicago. They also have a ton of gorgeous private dining rooms, and the booths are so comfortable you feel like you are in your own world. We loved the Spaetzle Mac & Cheese so much we ordered it twice in one evening. The oysters were fresh, the Rigatoni special was immaculate, the Lobster deviled eggs were divine, and the charred broccolini was heavenly. If it was considered healthy to do so, I would eat here every night. Cannot wait to return!

Our server was great and the tenderloin sliders may have been the best beef I had ever had. Fries were yummy too.

Elizabeth greeted me with a smile while I waited in the foyer for my friend to arrive. Close to 1:30pm Elizabeth asked me if I wanted to be seated and I said sure. I asked for a booth in the bar area and that’s exactly where she sat me. Soon after Angie the server came by and introduced herself. She asked if she could bring me something and I ordered a decaf latte. It was cold but she said she just steamed the milk so I let it go. My friend showed up and ordered a cappuccino. It came without cinnamon but Angie said you don’t carry cinnamon upstairs but she would go downstairs and get some and she did. You should have cinnamon upstairs! My tortilla soup was delicious and hot. My baked potato was lukewarm but I ate it anyway. My friend ordered Brussels sprouts and filet mignon with Mac & cheese and it was good. For dessert we ordered key lime pie but it was bland. The last time we ordered key lime pie it was tart and delicious. All in all, good experience. We’ll be back and hopefully you’ll have better key lime pie and please bring back the wedge salad!

For a first-timer to this restaurant, it was very good overall. Very delicious food, I ordered the ribeye steak, and it was beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection. The restaurant was very clean, with a nice interior, and was quiet throughout the whole night. Cost is somewhat pricey, but I believe it is definitely worth every dime. Will come again for sure in the future!!

We enjoyed the Baby Back Ribs, Seared Tuna Salad and French Dip sandwich. All were delicious. Only one detractor: our friends are Chinese Nationals without local ID’s and both are 30-somethings. Our server stated that an ID is required for anyone under 40? You missed out on selling two beers as a beverage. So sad!

Great food, great drinks, great waitress! We had dinner to celebrate my birthday and had the French dip and the chicken dip sandwiches. Mac & cheese was pretty good as well. For drinks, we got the Moscow mule and margaritas. We like our margaritas spicy and they delivered! So good. I would definitely go back!

We frequently eat at Remingtons before attending the Chicsgo Symphony. We love sitting in a booth in the bar area. Great vibe and sometimes good to catch a football game on TVs in the bar. The food is delicious. From interesting starters to share to huge salads to a range of entrees, I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I’ve eaten there. Tonight the rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes were delicious. Wine and cocktails are fairly priced. Service is friendly, attentive and not intrusive. I highly recommend Remingtons.
