Really disappointing NYE dinner. It took over 45 mins for our drink/food order to be taken. My partner ordered a cocktail that never came. Our server was nice but clearly overwhelmed with the number of guests he was serving. The food was also not up to par with the prices we were paying - the caviar and salmon dishes were bland and uninspired, and the crust on the beef Wellington was undercooked and had a mushy texture. Overall I was extremely disappointed by the meal and overall service - I expected better from the Royal York(and the price point).

The restaurant atmosphere was lovely and the server was very sweet but the breakfast was overpriced for what it was. The coffee was delicious! My toast was gluten-free and was more warm bread than toast...gluten-free bread takes much longer to toast than regular bread. I asked for sliced tomato in place of potatoes which was readily accommodated, but the tomato was tasteless and under-ripe.

I had the 12 oz striploin. Very tasty and the mashed potatoes were delicious. Some left over gris on the steak. The red chateau le puy merlot was a delicious wine. I wish i had seen the bottle so i could buy some at home. Hny! 🎸

Overall great experience! Went for a girl's night/ friendsmas and had an amazing time. Our server Victoria was so hospitable and fun. She gave us menu suggestions and was prompt with all of our needs. Food was so yummy, I had the salmon and brussel sprouts and they were delicious. I will definitely be back!

I visited this restaurant last night, but unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. I had been here around the same time last year, and everything was excellent back then. However, this time was very different. Our server seemed uninterested and inattentive throughout the evening. He was a middle-aged to older gentleman, bald, and unfortunately, his behavior left a lot to be desired. His communication was poor, and we had to repeatedly ask for basic things like refilling our water or updates about our food. We ordered a starter and a main course, but there was an incredibly long delay—nearly an hour—between the two. Despite asking multiple staff members about the status of our main course, we didn’t get proper attention. Overall, it was not the welcoming and professional experience I remembered from last year. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to ensure better service in the future.

Had the best service while dinning here. Such amazing and accommodating bartenders. Made some great cocktails and very friendly.
