Reid’s Cafe is located in beautiful Sugar Mountain, NC. We love the intentional, the specific, and the well-cared-for. We work closely with our local farms and purveyors to curate fresh, seasonal menus that feature regionally sourced meats, a rotation of fresh oysters and select seafood. All of our breads, pastas, and pastries are prepared in-house daily. Our Bar offers local beers, seasonal craft cocktails, and a well chosen wine selection. We are currently operating under all Covid-19 restrictions and following all CDC and local guidelines. The health and safety of our guests and our staff is our #1 priority. Outdoor reservations are by phone only. We look forward to seeing you.

We dined at the outside seats, and had a nice, quiet meal while enjoying the sunshine. Our meals were delicious. I had the pasta, which was truly handmade and off the charts good. My husband had the shrimp and grits, which was great too. The only improvement would have been a slightly larger portion of grits. The grits were so good! All of the meal options seemed well thought-out and unique. Everything on the menu sounded appetizing. I started with a specialty cocktail drink, an Aperol spritz with peach (the drink may be called “Ritzy Spritzy”) very tasty with a peach slice in it. The server was friendly and attentive, making for a perfect mid-week evening out. This will continue to be one of our favorite local restaurants.

We love Reid’s Cafe. The menu options are unique and always fabulous. The service was excellent.

My experience was disappointing. The menu was uninspiring. The noise level combined with the tight seating was uncomfortable. This restaurant is overrated.

We told the waiter several times I was a vegetarian; no meat products. I order the pasta (which I read very carefully) and it said accompanied with chef’s selection of vegetables. To my surprise my pasta came with a huge piece of meat in top of it. The waiter said in the menu didn’t say but it came with meat. Very confusing and of course I had to wait while my husband eat by himself. We will not go there again

Excellent restaurant. I have multiple food allergies and were they were terrific about cooking the proper foods. Very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Loved Reid’s for lunch but found the dinner menu lacking in variety and price points. The service was excellent and love the decor.
