Executive Chef Brian Whitson uses locally-sourced ingredients, most from with 117 miles of the restaurant, to craft a menu that has something for everyone, from extra lumpy crab cakes to wood-fired pizza and more.

Regions 117 is truly a treasure, as it is the only venue for lakeside dining in the Valley, located just behind the gates at the dynamic Shenandoah Lodge. We welcome all who enjoy delicious food paired with an uninterrupted view of the 117-acre Lake Frederick from inside, or out on our expansive Veranda.

Prices are way too high, the service was sub par and they weren’t busy at all. We had reservations, and still had to wait for several minutes before seating and they JUST OPENED!!! Apparently they cater to the “membership” before customers that aren’t! Too bad…

We had a wonderful evening and our server Rebecca made it special! The manager Anthony is always checking on all the tables and helping the team. Another great dinner at Regions! Cheers! Anastasia

Don’t order the Prime Rib French Dip. The bread was soggy and inedible. The prime rib meat was very fatty. The Cesar Salad had iceberg lettuce not Romaine. The appetizers were very good. We had the crab and pretzel and the Korean tacos.

We had difficulty with the hostess to begin with as there was confusion on getting a table. While we expected a wait of an hour, 2 hours later we went to see the hostess who asked “if we were ready” as if we hadn’t been waiting for 2 hours. The bartender was amazing. He is the reason they got two stars for service. He was incredibly attentive even though he was very busy. The food took a really long time and was only subpar. Their Caesar dressing is very obviously from a bottle and was not good. I think any restaurant trying to make a name for themselves needs to make their own salad dressings as this is not difficult & elevates your cuisine. Bottled dressing TASTES like bottled dressing. The fries were undercooked. The menu is lacking in variety. Our server for the dining room was unprofessional, inattentive, and went as far to aggressively place the check on the table when confronted with criticism that was self-requested. All in all… will probably not return or recommend to others. It’s a shame because we were excited for a nice restaurant close to us.

Our entire team would like to apologize for our performance that was experienced by you and your guests on Friday evening. We read every review and comment and take them all very seriously. We are currently addressing where the communication breakdown was at the host/hostess stand to insure this does not happen again. The culinary team has been made aware of the French fries as well as the Caesar dressing. We are currently working on our fall menu which should offer a variety of seasonal offerings. We are also working with our service team to make sure we provide the absolute best guest experience at all times. The architecture of this Lodge/Resturant is worth the visit alone. Not to worry the food is outstanding, creative and plain wonderful!! Try the specials as they always seem to be very well planned.

Love going to Regions 117. I selected quiet but it’s only quiet outside which is where we always sit. We’ve tried many items on the menu and have never had anything bad.
