Executive Chef Brian Whitson uses locally-sourced ingredients, most from with 117 miles of the restaurant, to craft a menu that has something for everyone, from extra lumpy crab cakes to wood-fired pizza and more.

Regions 117 is truly a treasure, as it is the only venue for lakeside dining in the Valley, located just behind the gates at the dynamic Shenandoah Lodge. We welcome all who enjoy delicious food paired with an uninterrupted view of the 117-acre Lake Frederick from inside, or out on our expansive Veranda.

Another wonderful evening on the deck with fantastic service, (thank you Alec), delicious food and tasty cocktails. We came earlier than our reservations, the hostess seated us quickly. Thank you again Regions, for another great evening.

Handhelds (sandwiches) and drinks were outstanding! Made a reservation and was sat immediately.

The restaurant was very busy with diners indoors and on the veranda, a wedding, and an outdoor concert with a separate price fix menu. Our service, meal, and drinks met the restaurant’s high standard. The Chef and two of the Food & Beverage Managers stopped at our table to confirm that the meal and service met their requirements. Over the course of the last year, we’ve had many of the menu offerings. We’d have every one again.

Excellent food, service and ambiance. The only negative aspect to the evening was something outside the restaurant’s control, and that was the presence of spotted lantern flies out on the balcony (they are everywhere in this area now). It would have been pleasant to dine out there, and people were and didn’t seem bothered, but my husband was grossed out by the bugs, so we stayed inside. The interior was lovely and we had a wonderful evening. It was our wedding anniversary, and the restaurant was able to accommodate my request for a table overlooking the lake. And our waitress greeted us with a cheery Happy Anniversary! Very nice. Definitely recommend and look forward to going back.

This is the 2nd Time we have visited. We had dinner on the deck overlooking the lake last time and it was Phenomenal. Today we had Brunch and it was nothing short of Amazing. The food is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We will be returning soon.

I can’t say enough about our dinner tonight. The food was absolutely incredible. We had drinks, appetizer, entrees and a dessert. There was not one thing that the three of us didn’t love. The whole staff was so friendly. The restaurant is stunning (and very clean). We love the large swings on the porch as well. This is easily becoming our favorite girls night location.

Lovely place for lunch in Virginia's horse country. Beautiful setting. Service was friendly and efficient, even when I asked for a slight change in the ingredients for my salad. Cheesy bread very good! Beautiful ambiance. Highly recommend. We will be back for dinner some time soon.
