The Refinery in Auburn, New York took the place of where BeaVine Chophouse and Wine Bar once stood. This new restaurant is focused on providing customers with meals made from locally-sourced, fresh ingredients. This includes the meat and even much of the wine and beer.

While the menu at The Refinery is largely traditional, there are many unexpected twists to be enjoyed.

This place is the best part of the hotel. Wish they had been open earlier for lunch. Food was good and prices were not outrageous.

We had a late reservation and I wasn't sure what would be available at that point. Our waitress was wonderful. The food was good: a perfectly cooked steak. The ambiance is nice. We enjoyed a wine flight and got desserts to go. After the restaurant closes you can still have drinks at the bar just outside the door. And if you are staying as a guest you can take your drinks back to your room. All in all a very pleasant experience for an easy romantic weekend.

The restaurant is inside the Hilton Garden Inn and I was not sure what to expect . I have to say it was an extremely pleasant experience. The food was top notch and our server was friendly and had great recommendations. The atmosphere was pleasant and prices were reasonable. I will make this a stop again when I am back in the area .

This is actually the Hilton Garden Inn's restaurant. The portobello sandwich was very good. I had the lemon pepper haddock, which was nicely done as well. The food is mainly standards, but expertly prepared.

My wife's seafood broil was very good. My hamburger was a bit overcooked. Overall, the food was good, but not exceptional. Our server was friendly but disappeared at the end of the meal. I definitely recommend this place if you are already staying at the Hilton Garden Inn as the restaurant is connected to the HGI. This is also one of the few restaurants in Auburn open on Tuesdays and taking reservations.

This place is certainly a hidden gem as far as restaurants go. We wanted to go to dinner on a night when most everything in Auburn is closed, so we happen to go online and search restaurants were open on Tuesday nights the Hilton Garden Inn restaurant, Refinery Modern Fare. There were six of us and everything was excellent. This restaurant is definitely tops on our list for any night.

Our food was delicious, 3 people got the salmon and raved about it. 2 of us got the chicken/pasta dish, it was very good, and one person got the flounder and loved it. The price is very reasonable. The waitress was beyond lovely. Would recommend.
