    Really lovely setting, and very helpful staff. The rump steak was delicious and beautifully cooked, and the mussels were also great! The only let downs were the carbonara which was a bit bland, and the prawns which were a bit mushy. We’d definitely come back and both have steak though!

    Greeted by confusion, food ok but crab linguine lacks flavour but contains an unacceptable amount of shell making the dish gritty to eat Staff need to show care and ask if everything is ok are more drinks needed that kind of thing that is expected in a quality restaurant when not paying cafe prices.

    The food was exceptional. We tried the oysters, the mussels and the steak and chips. The steak was succulent and the chips lovely and crispy. We really enjoyed our lunch and look for to eating there again. Highly recommend this restaurant!

    The food was decent, but not outstanding. The waiter or kitchen mixed up our order so one of our group didn't actually receive their main course until the others were almost finished. They were, however, very apologetic and didn't add service to the bill.

    Disappointing meal, beer was a small bottle and priced as though it was artisan. Steak was not great and priced as though it would be half decent. Super thin piece and no crust on either side, overcooked on one side and flashed on the other, grey looking. Steak sauces were charged extra but that was not implied. Nevermind, won't visit again

    Food was good, service was superb, Hake was amazing, a bit more spinach would have been nice though. Alongside the lovely crushed potatoes. Steak was ok, however the chips whilst very crispy were unfortunately a bit oily for our liking. Overall good value though…

    We had 3 meals here the staff were attentive the food was fantastic and I can recommend the hake it was beautiful. Only 4 stars due to the stairs and not much of an Outlook in this building but definitely worth a look as it has character

    Lovely meal with our family. The staff were really friendly, playful with our 5 year old which was lovely. The starters were delicious- jumbo king prawns were the best! Our mains were well cooked and a good portion size. Only small comment would be that our pork belly wasn’t crispy. Other than that, the steak was cooked perfectly, chicken burger was huge and delish and the chips were a hit all round. We were too full to indulge in desserts. We would definitely return when we next visit St Ives.
