One of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had in years. 1/2 roast chicken in hot sauce was superb, but was topped by the sticky toffee pudding - outstanding. Faultless.

We were sat right up to a wall so no elbow room, a party of 9 on a table for 8 when there wasn't another person in the restaurant. I had a cobweb tangling over me. Food was mediocre, no extras like veg on most meals. The burger and chips looked lost on the plate. Then after plates had been collected our server (very young, quiet and inexperienced, lacking confidence) asked "if we wanted anything else", I was taken aback and between my family we joked about it, but just a nice, "would you like the desserts menu?" Would be more professional. There was zero atmosphere in the lonely room. Worst thing I realised after the deposit I had to pay (didn't like having to do it, but understand there must be a lot of no-shows) on booking has not been deducted from the bill. So now I'm having to chase for it to be paid back ASAP. Overall not a good meal experience for the family meal for my sons birthday. It wasn't a great burger and didn't even eat it all. Sorry, really disappointing. They knew on booking a was for a birthday yet zero effort was made or to even ask who's birthday it is and just to wish them a happy birthday,but no,nothing. Didn't even acknowledge us leaving.

Hi We are sorry you didn't enjoy your overall experience at The Redmore, we pride ourselves upon top service, food & drink. Regarding the food issues, if nay issues were relayed to the waiting staff we could have rectified the issue. I am aware you was the only table in the restaurant at the time and in fact that table is a table of 10 not 8, if you wasn't happy with the table we could have looked to move you to a better area for yourselves, however this was not relayed back to us. Unfortunately we did have some issues with our booking system meaning we didn't get the information regarding the deposit, this has now been refunded back to yourself. Hopefully this hasn't put you off trying The Redmore again.

Never been before even though we don’t live that far away. I was looking for somewhere I could book online short notice and this was very easy . Nice drinks & cocktail menu and the pornstar martini was great ! We had toasted sourdough with mushrooms garlic & blue chees for starter .. very tasty ! My husband ordered the garlic & blue cheese burger with chips and I had the chicken schnitzel. My husband loved the burger and he really is a burger expert ! Mine was very tasty, the only downside was the chicken was slightly greasy and a massive portion that I couldn’t quite finish. Nice surroundings, lovely food and would definitely come again

Absolutely gorgeous food! The young girl that served us was amazing too, catered to all our needs. The only thing that let it down, was the fact it was like a sauna 🤣 But it's britsh weather... what do you expect
