Looked after lovely for my 60th birthday meal everyone enjoyed there meal Staff were really quick getting food out Only one downside was took deposit off whole bill and not couples meals but they sorted it out

Unfortunately had over an hours wait for our food, then it was over cooked when it arrived, meals all had cracked sea salt all over, even on a 2 year old childs chiken nuggets and chips ! out with family for birthday lunch, very disappointing, we have had several meals here, always been fabulous, not sure what the reason for over an hours wait for food as it was not busy at the time , when I spoke to a member of staff she offered to re do the meals but we didn't have the time to sit and wait again for 8 meals to come, she could not apologise enough, 3 meals were taken off our bill and some ice cream given free for dessert, Hopefully if we return soon it will be back to its normal high standards, all the staff were great, very welcoming friendly and polite, sad that I had to leave before at 2pm before the desserts, the table was booked for 12.30pm which I thought would of been plenty of time before I had to leave at 2pm

As I have seen you have dined with us several times before and had a fantastic experience an enjoyed the food. All your feedback from on the day and your review has been relayed to our kitchen team and will be used for staff development. Food, staff and service outstanding. My only concern is the dip in the flooring going in restaurant. A simple sign would be good. My brother has poor mobility so it was a concern

Chose the plant burger option and wished I had gone for the frittata instead but it was perfectly presented just not to my taste.

Service was really quick and staff were very friendly. Sunday roast was excellent. Not too hot and cooked perfectly. Dessert was also delicious.

We went without starters needed to save room for puddings,out of my party three had the Beef Sunday dinner all said it was very nice and good portions a fourth had the Pork again this was said to be very nice another had the pie and mash which he said was really nice I myself went for the trio of Beef,Pork and chicken it was lovely the only downside was the waitress explained there was no Leeks in cream sauce but would be replaced with red cabbage which we were happy with only thing is we did not receive the red cabbage but must say we did not miss it so there must have been enough on our plates ha ha. On the puddings Three had the sticky toffee pudding which was delicious another had the crumble and custard with another having cheesecake we were all very pleased with these choices.

One of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had in years. 1/2 roast chicken in hot sauce was superb, but was topped by the sticky toffee pudding - outstanding. Faultless.
