Great friendly service . I had the shepherds pie. Overpriced, pie filling lacked depth and body. Mash was wet and the seasonal veg were bordering on raw . Was thinking of returning for a Sunday roast but im not sure i will now.

Hi James Our Shepards pie is one of our best sellers and a mush loved dish, if you wasn't happy with your dish we would have happily made you an differant dish. Hopefully this won't out you off returning to try our Sunday dinners, they are fantastic and we sell out on a weekly basis.

Ordered the fixed price lunch deal which included a drink. I had the frittata with salad. I use the term salad very loosely. A lot of green watercress type, but hardly any other type of salad ingredients. Miniscule pieces of cucumber and tomato, you would hardly notice they were there Then ordered mini pudding and coffee. Coffee was lovely. The mini.pudding I ordered was fruit crumble with custard , but when it came there was just a very small drop.of custard barely any at all. When I asked for a bit more custard I was told that I would be charged extra for it. Not impressed, so won't be going back

Hi Carrol Our lunch time meals re brilliant value and are smaller portions of our main meals, the frittata comes with a watercress, rocket and baby spinach salad with cucumber, onion, pepper and tomato. I understand you did ask for more salad to that we provided a whole side salad £3.50 free of charge Upon ordering dessert that was a mini crumble paired with a coffee, served in a small ramekin you then asked for extra custard that would have only been a charge of £0.49 in the currant economic situation with the cost of everything increasing we can not just simply give away extras free of charge every time someone asks.

It's been a good while since we've tried the Redmore Inn and thought we'd give it a another go. Someone's spent a fair bit of cash sprucing the place up - removing the tacky fabric & lights dangling from the conservatory roof, redecorating etc; it looks much better. There's still some strange design choices - parts look like a makeup studio than a pub/restaurant... but it's clean & tidy. Also gone is the fire hazard that was the wiring in the conservatory; endless extensions into extensions with literally dozens of things plugged in. The kitchen too has been overhauled by the looks of it. The "restaurant" section is quite tight - could do with one less table to make it more relaxed. The bar & conservatory is much better now. Light, airy and a nice atmosphere. Staff were attentive & helpful but not so much as to be bothersome. The drinks were OK, nothing special. The food however... stunning. Massive portions but absolutely beautiful to boot. It's a far cry from how it used to be - and that's a good thing. We'll certainly be going again.

Great food at the Redmore. Have been here a few times and it does not disappoint. The chicken schnitzel is fantastic so tasty. Husband had the gammon which he says was lovely. Service was excellent. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend

Lovely touches for our birthday celebrations. Great choices and food was excellent. Steaks cooked to perfection and food fresh and tasty.

Friendly welcome and polite staff. Nice food with a good variety to choose from. Prompt service and didn’t feel rushed.
