We loved the restaurant! Two apps and two meals that were off the “beaten path” but outstanding! We talked about the food multiple times during the night! Started with Golubtsi (reminded us of Ukraine friends’ homemade m Halupki) stuffed cabbage roll. Tender almost pasta-like cabbage with lightly seasoned light-textured beef and tomato sauce filling. Hearty portion and yum. Then a bowl of borsh. Another hearty portion. Not overly briny, but bright and fresh. Small bits of potatoes and cucumber and half a boiled egg. Plenty of fresh dill. Mildly chilled and delightful. We let the friendly waitress choose two mains from our four finalists. The Goulash had generous portions of chunks of super tender stewed beef with red peppers and non-trivial kick of heat from hot paprika and cayenne. Lastly was the traditional Stroganoff. I’m used to a little tomato in my stroganoff, and this leaned creamy. They changed my mind! Depth of flavor, so much meat, too, but more thinly sliced and also wickedly tender. Fantastic mushrooms mixed in and plenty of dill. Sooo good. It was two beef dishes… couldn’t be more different. And we couldn’t pick a favorite. Try them both! Server was great. She knew from timing we were likely there for a show (easy walk to the Denver Performing Arts Center) and helped us get out on time. We booked the table 2hr 15min before showtime and it was perfect. Let them absorb a bit of the pre-show rush without stressing out. Didn’t have time to try the infused vodka shots, but they looked like fun.. lots of flavors from cranberry or pineapple and others to garlic and other crazy options. Everything priced competitively for sure and they’re tilting to hearty portions rather than playing shrinkflation games. Noise got a little high when they filled up. The hard surfaces and energetic Friday night crowd helped with that. We’ll be back—with friends. Highly recommend!

My granddaughter and I enjoyed a pre show dinner and it was excellent. I had not been to Red Square in many years since before I had retired and worked downtown. So glad we came as it was as good as I remember and it’s no wonder it has thrived at this location all these years. We shared the pirogies, shrimp and polenta, goulash, and the chocolate pots de crème. All were delicious and our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will return.

If you want wonderful and delicious food along with great service, head to Red Square Bistro. We love coming here before heading to a show at DCPA because we know we are going to be able to relax and enjoy our meal. We love how we are treated like family and welcomed in every time and we know whatever we have it will be AWESOME!

We had a wonderful experience! Alex was our server and she was phenomenal. Thank you, Alex! It’s worth coming back just to be waited on by her. The food and drinks did not disappoint either. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

We decided to try this place before seeing a show based on all of the 5 star reviews. The location is very convenient to DCPA. The food is outstanding and the portions are quite large. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. A great experience overall. We will definitely go back often.

Go here! Our server was excellent and knowledgeable about the food and vodka selections. We ordered the lamb and chicken kiev- yum! The outdoor patio is cozy too.

Delicious and perfect food as usual. Waitstaff are always so good and helpful. The food is just SO flavorful, well-presented, and perfectly cooked. It’s one of our favorite restaurants ever.
