Situé dans le sud du 5ème quartier de Miami Beach, le Red bénéficie d'une décoration noire moderne qui intègre une touche exotique de Miami. Proposant uniquement les meilleurs pièces de bœuf Angus certifiées et raffinées sur l'os ou non, le menu a été imaginé par le chef Peter Vauthy. Il prépare des plats hybrides de la cuisine classique et des ingrédients frais de saison. Toutes les préparations, que ce soit des sauces jusqu'aux garnitures, sont cuisinées de A à Z et transformeront les plus fervents végétariens en carnivores voraces. We had the miami spice menu before at this restaurant and it was quite good but this year it was very disappointing. To start I got the bone arrow but had to return it (this bone marrow was purely saturated white fat). Then I asked for the house salad since the watermelon salad was not on the print menu (mix green with some pieces of cheese) and it was soaked in dressing. For my main dish I had the sirloin steak which was overly salty and very hard to chew. For dessert they only had 1 option in their menu ( which is not what they advertise online) “strawberry shortcake” a piece of sweet bread cut in half with bottle whipped cream and 2 slices of strawberries 😳 ( I couldn’t eat it either).

Service: Our waiter was the best thing at the restaurant. He was amazing, I wish I could remember his name. It was my boyfriend's birthday and he brought us a cake without me even have to ask. He was very kind and attentive. Him and the drinks would be the only reason I return. Oh and the mashed potatoes lol. Appetizers: Crisp Chili Calamari and Alaskan King Crab Cake. The calamari was fried nicely, but it literally had no taste. I love calamari, but this was just so bland. The crab cake was what I was looking forward to the most and I was so disappointed. It was nasty. For $45 I was expecting more flavor, chunkier crab meat and just a better experience. Entrees: C.A.B Prime Ribeye, Sautéed Spinach, Whipped Potatoes, 4 Cheese Macaroni (I believe we added lobster). The Ribeye was dry, we got it medium well(I know I know, but they should have been able to get it to that temp without drying the steak out). The sautéed spinach was also bland. The whipped potatoes were the best thing that came to the table. The macaroni was the next runner up. Drinks: Lychee Martini and The Ritz Lychee has a very acquired taste, if you've never tried it, maybe wait to try the martini. Not saying it was nasty, I just don't think I acquired the taste for it lol. The Ritz was a great drink.

Ordered the Rockafeller (spell check) oysters. Amazing. Wish I ordered the larger order. The lobster risotta was a little rich, certainly needed to hydrate after and missing the lobster on top as in the picture. But Qasim very tasty and there was a solid amount of noticeable lobster meat in the dish. So really nothing to complain about. Cocktails came fast and were tasty. Bread served with the dipping oil was a little hard. But would recommend and will return.

Wow!! The new happy hour menu is just amazing!! We tried the fried lobster tail and the bang bang shrimp and both were so very delicious!! And Murisa makes the best cocktails and mocktails we have ever had .... honestly, anywhere in the world!! We shared a delicious New York strip Steak and the spicy green beans. It was a perfect meal and so very delicious! Red is our favorite restaurant South of Fifth and we love it for both a Casual meal and a special occasion!!

La comida genial, pedimos el risotto de Langosta y un NY, estuvieron muy buenos. Lo mejor fue la Cheesecake!!! La atención muy buena, al igual que la música.

The service upon arrival was amazing. They have great valley service. We did the Miami spice menu where it gave a variety of options. I really enjoyed the flavor of the food. I have the crab stuffed flounder with a great tiramisu dessert. The server Bruno was very hands-on very attentive. I will definitely recommend red siege for a great date night
