Key West seafood restaurant in the heart of old town on Petronia. The menu is kept small so that everything is nice and fresh for you. Yellowtail snapper, fish of the day, Key West pink shrimp, and seafood medley highlight the menu.
Deviled Eggs topped with Scallops, Shrimp Mango Toast and Crispy Pork Belly Croustinis tantalize the pallet. Beef stroganoff made with certified black angus beef is a favorite.

Relaxing, unpretentious, and romantic.
Seating is very limited.
24 Hour Cancellation window.
For the consideration of our guests, we do not accept parties over the size of six (6).
We offer a 6 pm and an 8 pm seating.

A true top-notch experience! From apps (pork belly crostini), entrees (beef stroganoff and catch of the day), to dessert (key lime pie and lavender cheesecake), we savored every bite. GO!

What a gem! We didn’t have a single bite we didn’t enjoy thoroughly. Hubby had the yellowtail snapper and I had the shrimp. Both were great! But the mango shrimp toast was amazing! Service was wonderful as well. Definitely a must try while on the island.

I enjoyed our evening at the Red Shoe so much. Everything was wonderful, the food, service and ambience. Highly recommend this restaurant.

It seems like every time I go here the experience is incredible. Between the food and the service, you really can’t find a better restaurant in Key West

Really good food. It is a limited menu, but each dish is done very well. Friendly and attentive staff. Small space, and could have used a bit better air conditioning. Overall, very good experience!

Thank you for the feedback! My apologies regarding the A/C. An NFL player crashed his car into our restaurant a few weeks ago and knocked out one of our walls. We are working hard to get a replacement, cement wall built to keep it cooler inside. I hope you have a wonderful day and we hope to see you again!

John, our server, set the tone for a most enjoyable evening. The Beef Stroganoff lives up to its billing: it is delicious and filling but not so filling that you feel an immediate need to sleep it off. The Key Lime Pie was the perfect ending: sweet but not too sweet with a lovely balance of tartness. All in all a lovely evening. And if you’re a David Bowie fan you’ll appreciate the art on the wall.
