Located in the heart of Overtown, Red Rooster serves comfort food celebrating the roots of American cuisine and the diverse culinary traditions of the neighborhood. At Red Rooster, we want to share the story of Overtown with our guests, and offer a platform to celebrate local artists, musicians and culinary talents. We embrace today's Overtown with a spirit of inclusiveness and community by hiring our family of staff from within the community; inspiring better eating through buying from local purveyors. Overtown is a unique and historically rich neighborhood that we are honored to be a part of. We invite you to please join us and share in the spirit of Overtown at Red Rooster, where Chef Marcus Samuelsson brings his passion for food to the neighborhood. Red Rooster is always one of our go-to spots when we are in Miami. In a city where dining options are plentiful, the service and food at this Overtown landmark is always top notch. You can tell from the minute you walk in, everyone from the hostess, to the servers, bar tenders, managers and chefs take tremendous pride in their work. The food is ridiculously good and you are treated like family every time. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Found this place on TikTok and liked the reviews on Google so I decided to try it and I loved it! Went for brunch and I would definitely recommend.

Second time at Red Rooster and it was even better than the first time. The food is fantastic. You know it’s good when everyone at the table is sharing each others food. This place is a gem!!!

I love everything about Marcus Samuelsson, his restaurants, his gram, his vibe and his food. The service was super off but the kindness of the tr and deliciousness of the meal made up for it. We skipped dessert because we had been there so long. But would have loved to have tried it!

We loved Red Rooster. First, several members of our party were obnoxiously late. The staff kind and flexible and seated us anyway. Our server Carlos was friendly and knowledgeable. All of the food we ordered was excellent. We had several starters and all entrees were large enough to be shared. Highlights were the deviled eggs, ceviche, oxtail, salmon and fried chicken. The lamb belly was different but delectably spicy. We would go back. Very affordable at about $60pp including gratuity.

Food was decent, the cocktails were underwhelming, however the ambiance & our server Burge made up for it. Music was too loud!
