Located in the heart of Overtown, Red Rooster serves comfort food celebrating the roots of American cuisine and the diverse culinary traditions of the neighborhood. At Red Rooster, we want to share the story of Overtown with our guests, and offer a platform to celebrate local artists, musicians and culinary talents. We embrace today's Overtown with a spirit of inclusiveness and community by hiring our family of staff from within the community; inspiring better eating through buying from local purveyors. Overtown is a unique and historically rich neighborhood that we are honored to be a part of. We invite you to please join us and share in the spirit of Overtown at Red Rooster, where Chef Marcus Samuelsson brings his passion for food to the neighborhood. Second time at Red Rooster and it was even better than the first time. The food is fantastic. You know it’s good when everyone at the table is sharing each others food. This place is a gem!!!

We loved Red Rooster. First, several members of our party were obnoxiously late. The staff kind and flexible and seated us anyway. Our server Carlos was friendly and knowledgeable. All of the food we ordered was excellent. We had several starters and all entrees were large enough to be shared. Highlights were the deviled eggs, ceviche, oxtail, salmon and fried chicken. The lamb belly was different but delectably spicy. We would go back. Very affordable at about $60pp including gratuity.

Inside looks amazing, but the patio needs to be clean. Other than that is very nice

Food was decent, the cocktails were underwhelming, however the ambiance & our server Burge made up for it. Music was too loud!

I could eat that Oxtail everyday, it literally falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. All the food ordered was excellent and impeccable service for my girlfriend’s large birthday dinner. One of Miami’s best gems!

We wanted to sit in the main room but not near BIG party table where we were put . The hostess said all other tables were reserved , there were many tables . At 615p till we left 90 minutes later , many still empty . Hostess said people didn’t show or cancel . Really ?!! Might never go back and I was thinking to bring friends from Arkansas there next week .

My husband and I had a great time celebrating our anniversary at Red Rooster. Everything was perfect, from the ambiance to the food, and the drinks. We will definitely be back soon.
