At Red Rooster, we want to share the story of Overtown with our guests, and offer a platform to celebrate local artists, musicians and culinary talents. Red Rooster's Sunday Buffet was good. The ambience was comfortable, and the service was also good. The music in the background was old-school themed, which was great, although a bit loud to hold conversations. The overall price for the buffet was not bad. The food was kind of back-yard themed type barbecue, kebob style lamb, chicken, and barbecued salmon, along with different sides, such as the macaroni & cheese, and grits. The macaroni & cheese and grits were wonderful. The barbecued salmon was also great. They also had oysters which were not bad and an assortment of desserts. I wish they had more at-home baked assorted desserts. Seemed as if the desserts were brought from outside vendors and not what I expected to have at this establishment. Overall, a good place to hang out at and eat on a Sunday afternoon.

Overall a good experience. A little on the pricey side but the dishes were delicious.

great time. service was very good as was the food. we had the jambalaya with chicken, oxtail, salmon, rice, plantains and okra. also delicious corn bread. always great there

Excellent food and service! Pedro and Charlotte were friendly and helpful. The Avocado Toast and the Herb Cheddar Omelette were absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant for its food, location, ambience and great service. Cheers to Marcus Samuelson for this wonderful restaurant!! :)

The food was delicious. Our table had for apps, corn bread, deviled eggs and wings, all good. For dinner, Fried Chicken with collard greens and Oxtail with rice, both entrees were flavourful and portions were plenty. Only negative, 1 server but manager was also helping out. Highly recommend

Great food and service for starters the corn bread and deviled eggs for entrees the party had chicken and waffles and the oxtail no complaints highly recommend it

Unique take on southern dishes. Lamb and greens were the best. Don’t skip the corn bread. Wait staff impeccable! Thanks for a wonderful meal!
