Red Rooster is a new interpretation of the classic neighborhood tavern with all local taps, eclectic wines, and classic cocktails. It’s a gathering place that is inviting and comfortable with a focus on community.

Our menus highlight the best of the seasons. All our eggs, chicken, pork, and beef are 100% pasture-raised and sourced from small, sustainable local farms.

This was our first visit to red rooster. It is a nice environment. The host/manager was very informative and very nice welcoming us as first time guest. We tried the fish and chips, green goddess salad, crabcakes, and desserts. All were very good. We will definitely be back.

The food was delicious. The pimento cheese appetizer is my favorite. Each of our dishes were wonderful and we had leftovers to take home. The desserts didn’t disappoint. We will be back!

The waitress was new so she didn’t understand if items were GF or DF … but other than that our experience was great! Our food was wonderful as well!

Have loved this restaurant since it's renovation. What a wonderful addition to the Paseo District. Always a lovely evening. And thank you.

So disappointing-this is typically one of my favorite spots, but for them to charge $55/$60 a plate for teeny portions of overcooked scallops & watery sloppy short rib. At least $55 got me 3 miniature scallops. The food (apps/main) all arrived at the same time but at different temperatures; the arancini was dry/cold. The hostess also poured half a glass of water directly into the arancini which helped with the dryness, but just awkwardly apologized & didn’t even offer to bring a replacement dish. The only edible offering was a chèvre board that was just a couple bites. $190 for 2 people/2 drinks for maybe one of the worst dining experiences of all time. This place should be ashamed for charging that much for terrible food. Totally understand NYE & fixed menu options/increased prices, but this was a monumental fail. We left disappointed & hungry & had to settle for fast food on the way home. Yay.

Hi Chad, We are so sorry you had this unfortunate experience. As the manager on duty that evening I would have loved to have heard from you so I could have corrected the situation. I try my best to talk with each table and I am so sorry that we did not get a chance to connect that evening. And sincerest apologies about your meal, surprising to hear because the hit of the night with most guests was the scallop dish, I hate that yours was not up to the standard we strive to serve. I hope we can make it up to you next time you visit.
