Located in the new mixed-use district of Pinecrest, we invite you to experience - first-hand - what makes RED the national award-winning restaurant and “best steakhouse”.

Please call (after 2pm) to make reservations for parties over 5 guests, for parties over 10 please contact Private Dining. For Parties over 5 we require a credit card to hold the reservation. Fee of $25 per person charged in cases of No-Show or cancellation with less than 24hrs notice.

My meal was salty to the point of being inedible. Everything - the steak, the mushrooms and onions, and the bearnaise (which didn’t even taste like bearnaise sauce - no tarragon flavor whatsoever). I had hoped it would be better when I ate the leftovers but it wasn’t - still inedible salty. Also the iceberg wedge was wilted. Don’t expect this for the prices. The service was very good.

Service and drinks best part thanks to Curtis our server. All of our food came out room temperature, very disappointing for a high end steakhouse. People sitting next to us in doo-rags and ballcaps. Class it up, Red.

Took my dad here to celebrate his 87th birthday. Our waiter was wonderful and very sweet to give him a birthday dessert. The only downside was that the room was VERY loud and even sitting next to each other it was difficult to normally converse.

This is a MIXED REVIEW. I have not dined at Red since it was on Richmond Road many years ago. I was less than impressed then, and unfortunately I have not changed my mind. However, the bright side is - the 2 others I dined with, loved it. I will give you all input. I’m the only one who ordered an alcoholic drink and I ordered a Manhattan up. It is rare that I go to an upper scale restaurant or steakhouse and order a Manhattan that is not just about perfect! Something about great steakhouses in Manhattan’s go together for me. The Manhattan was not tasty and it looked more yellow than red in color. I requested a little extra more sweet vermouth, and drank it, but it was very underwhelming. I really don’t know what they made it with, but it was not a typical Manhattan. Moving on - my friend ordered a ribeye with black pepper crusting and he absolutely loved it. My husband and I split a bone in ribeye. He loved it. It had a layer of signature olive oil brushing….. that to me was so salty I really did not care for it. To me a great cut of meat needs minimal seasoning. My husband did not mind the layer of the salty brushing…. And did enjoy it. The steak itself was good but for me it was too salty. Brussels sprouts were excellent as were the fingerling potatoes . The service was very good and the wait staff knowledgeable. We had no dessert. I have read and been told the presentation of desserts for special occasions is awesome, but we were dining with a friend from out of town who loves a good steak. He was happy - so mission accomplished.

Disappointing that we had a party of four and half the people received their meals 15-20 minutes before the other half. Half the sides were served with first 2 meals and the other half with the third and fourth meals. Obviously as a party of 4 we wanted to enjoy our meals at the same time, but we also expected to share the 4 side dishes we ordered and not held of them be cold. Not a great experience for the cost.

The ambiance and service were on point again. At our server Mark’s suggestion, we tried the oysters, and they were fantastic. Because we usually order steaks here, I asked Mark for a recommendation on two entrees. He steered me to the tuna. It was fantastic! The flavors and texture make this dish a standout. Presentation, too- from the sesame coating, the tender fish with seared outer edges and magenta flesh, slim slices of Fresno peppers dotting the slices of tuna artfully served atop two crispy angular rice cakes… It was SO good. My husband ordered the bucatini and meatballs, and loved the flavor and tenderness of the meatballs. He found the pasta a bit heavy for his liking. Overall another memorable dining experience at Red. We’ll be back.
