Red Onion is so quaint & charming. The food is truly authentic Mediterranean cuisine and absolutely delicious. This is a perfect place to escape the hustle & bustle of a heavily touristy area while supporting a small, local restaurant. Great date spot also!

Very quaint restaurant with nice ambiance. The food was a little disappointing in flavor. The staff and service was excellent.

This is our second time visiting this amazing Mediterranean food restaurant. We went there with friends tonite. We all loved the food and atmosphere and the waitress was so kind , friendly and did a great job with our table. The gyro platter, the hamburger beast , fillet mignon salad dish was awesome. I had the Tasso platter and was delicious. We will be back with friends and family soon. Thank u

Exceptional service by Darla! Place was busy and full but she hustled and gave great friendly service! Food was excellent, hot, great! quality and quantity, tantalize your taste buds. Got lamb chops fabulous, gyros platter, chicken tava. Don't pass up this gem!

We have been huge fans of Red Onion for several years. Their food is always fresh, healthful and wonderful. It’s my families favorite place in Destin!

The restaurant is cute and quaint, kinda small. The food was amazing! My husband had the chicken it was a 100 year old recipe and it was fabulous! I had the lamb loin chops which were perfectly seasoned! Our son had chicken gyro which he enjoyed. The food server was efficient and hard working but comes off abrasive. I don’t think she is abrasive maybe she was busy because she is the only server and this place can be busy! Seriously, I would go back. This place is one of the best in Destin! Don’t bother with Bubba gumps or Fudpuckers, def go to Red Onion!

The Red Onion Organic was a small quaint mom and pop restaurant that looked like it was geared towards locals vs tourists. Cute from the outside and we went in excited based on the online menu and pics. We walked it and were not so pleasantly greeted by the hostess. Thought okay fine, the waitress will be better. Unfortunately, the waitress was the hostess and the service did not get any friendlier during the meal, except until the end when the bill came due, and of course a tip. Her entire demeanor changed. She perked up, got friendly, and said she hoped we enjoy the rest of our evening. Yeah, that doesn’t exactly cut it. On the upside the meal was fabulous- reasonable prices, good sized portions, incredible flavor. The beef tenderloin was fork tender!

We saw all the food and amazing presentation from the restaurants Instagram page. I was so excited to eat and try the food. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 entrées and everything was very bland and had no flavoring. I was very disappointed.
